I found it and other statistics interesting, and although it did not directly answer the original question, I was/am curious as to the parallel between the real world GA/Commercial statistics vs. the Simmers. I fly GA 95% of the time because I like to "sim" what I can/would/do in real life. On a side note, as someone stated earlier, I do believe that many developers of airports are missing out on smaller GA type airports. I use a lot of Ray Smith's airport work.

There does seem to be a problem with My Traffic 5.4C, I reverted back to 5.4B and have no problems. AI traffice impact is minimal even near a large airport where there may be 300 aircraft within a 150 miles radius. In spite of the problem with 5.4C (I do believe Manfred is trying to determine exact problem and he is responsive to questions) I am very happy with My Traffice 5.4B.

Wow, and of course they are going to make the crossing at under 10,000 feet, rough ride but quite a view!! OK, see what you can do and I will donate the first $1........... :lol:

I fly GA and mostly N. America, lots of smaller airports and I use MyTraffic.

Jim, I have had occasional CTD's with Stackhash error and decided to see what the "Take Ownership" would do for me. I did and it seemed to work GREAT. Now maybe this is my imagination but it also seemed to get rid of some small stutters AND I seem to be holding very close to my fixed 30 fps more. Now would you do me the favor and using your EXPERTISE tell me if I am just imagining these other benefits or could it me. THANKS MUCH!!!

I agree, I do not believe there is any "ops" taking place and as said earlier look how long it took to find Bin Laden. Let us just pray that efforts by any and all involved will provide some clue and perhaps evidence as to what may have happened so that the families can start getting some closure.

I retired a little over 9 years ago. I did have some specific plans and am still implementing some of them. I did travel around the world on a general purpose cargo ship as a paid passenger. 4 1/2 months and 27 ports which meant I finally got to Asia (Thailand, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwain, China, South Korea and Japan). I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who has the desire, time and money to do it. I then travelled throughout the US visiting family and friends, and have been to 49 of the 50 (Alaska hopefully this year). I worked a number of seasonal jobs and now am working full time again at the San Antonio airport. So I really was retired for about 3 years but had to get back to work to keep my sanity. Before I retired I moved to Texas (no state income tax) and decent weather, so my living location change was made while I still had money!! I do collect a pension and social security. Luckily when I retired I still have health coverage as a retiree as well as Medicare. Visit family and friends as much as possible and when not flying FSX I do a little golf (live on a course). I too use an email sub-folder appoach. My "main" computer has all the information from purchase codes, etc. to updates. My "sim" computer also has the same folders and thus when I need to install or re-install all the information is readily available.

I do not refuse to fly on-line, I just prefer the routes, areas I would like to fly during a particular time of the day, season of the year. The few times I have been on-line there just was not a lot of traffic and it really was not where I wanted to fly at that ime. I think it is great that there is an on-line community(s) that gets together and fly on-line for the reasons they have. Happy Flying on or off-line!!!

ViperPilot: There's also some interest in a Fire Bomber conversion, if it's economically feasible. If there's something we need in the Western US, it's more air assets for Fire Suppression. I agree with both of those statements. I would hate to see an asset like that not be used..................
