Yes, the M.2 standard comes in different sizes, so pick the right one Be aware that some of the crucial 1Tb nvme's have a read speed of only 560 Mb/s - being the same as an SSD !

Depending on the make/model some mvme are indeed up to 6 times faster - on paper ! In real live you will probably not notice much difference compared to an ssd.

If during boarding you minimize P3D and go do something else, you might just as well skip boarding all together. What's the point ? You want to make it as realistic as possible and then cheat.!

This is not standard P3D. Did you change the assignments or using Ezdok / Chaseplane ?

To be honest, I have not tried this, but reading the instructions it comes to me as over complicated. Me, on the startup scenario screen, I select the aircraft/livery, location, time, weather. Takes 15 sec. and of we go !

That is to defragment HDD. Do NOT use on SSD ! If you are using your HDD for years, it can make a difference. Windows 10 will do that automatically on a weekly basis (unless you cancelled that task)

There are HD with small buid-in SSD for catching. They are referred to as SHDD. To my knowledge there are no programs to link a 512MB SSD as a buffer with a HDD.

I'm not an iMac specialist. Are you going to use a breakaway box to connect the external gpu (for power) ? Seems like a lot of money for little performance gain.

I moved all but the F22 to a folder outside P3D.(No symbolic link) I fly PMDG and FSL and no problems what so ever. -
I'm on Ivao. That works ok, but it is not setup in 10 mins. I read they are working on a new 64bit environment. Problem is, i have been reading this for the last 3 years or so........ still waiting So why Ivao ? I fly in Europe and they are just far better in that region.

I use this on the PMDG 737 and just upgraded to P3D 4.5 HF. It still works, but there is no more sound ????
