  1. Rob, let me preface this with the fact that I, and everyone else, absolutely love your work. Particularly with the Turbine Duke. But the P3D update to the Legacy has been in "soon" status for almost a year now. I realize that P3D has changed quite a bit in this time, but the "soon" term is really being stretched out here. I am sure many others who have made the move to P3D as their only sim are eagerly awaiting both the Legacy and the NA Duke to be released. Please communicate with your customers better on the status of the projects. The only change we have seen is from soon, to very soon. I am not trying to insult you or your products in any way, but my virtual hangar has these 2 open slots that desperately need to filled. I can not imagine what is taking this length of time. Please hurry up and take my money!
  2. Check your emails guys. Mark has an announcement for current customers. I won't spoil it here, but it's great news! Let's all support Mark in his work. The level of support that he provides is second to none, and worth the price alone. Well done sir.
  3. Those look great! Can't wait to get my hands on them.
  4. As far as the nose goes With EzDok and TrackIR, you could effectively lean far enough forward to see that the VC ended just behind the glare shield. There was no radome before, now there is.
  5. This, and the other videos in the series may help you both. Enjoy.
  6. The only thing that I have found that "fixes" the issue is to first load a twin engine plane, then switch to whatever single engine plane I want to fly. Kinda weird.
  7. I've been having a similar problem in P3Dv3.1, but only on certain aircraft. Whenever I try to use anything from A2A, Carenado Grand Caravan, and a few others, I have the problem. The problem being that I can start up, get everything ready to taxi, and as soon as I start applying power, the airplanes ground loop hard to the left. Adding full right rudder isn't enough either. That brings it to just left of center. I've tried disabling FSUIPC, recalibrating using the built in system from P3D, setting rudder null zones much higher than normal, all to no avail. I could also use some help if anyone has some insight.
  8. I will never forget when I first got into aviation, Delta was using the L-1011 on the TPA-ATL-TPA run. It was always full of both people and freight. It was basically a daily shuttle. And you could always tell when an L-1011 started up, no matter where you were on the field. Such a distinctive rumble. That and the double beacons will always be with me.
  9. I am guessing some of you have found this helpful?
  10. I know many of you have been looking for more detailed information on the Lear 35. The link below should allow you to download a copy of the original flight manual for the Lear 35. Note the only difference is that this manual is for an aircraft equipped with the older FC-200 Autopilot. We chose to go with the newer FC-530. Other than that, all the info is the same. Hope this helps out those looking for more detailed information. https://www.dropbox.com/s/rv4087ax13bidwf/Lear%2035%20AFM.pdf?dl=0
  11. I have a copy of a real POH. as soon as I figure out a way to share it with everyone I will be happy too. It has charts for T/O power. However, I typically use about 98% thrust and that seems to be plenty for most flights. Just keep in mind that she accelerates fast. You have to quick with getting her cleaned up (gear& flaps), and YD engaged.
  12. I too was very close to throwing in the towel recently, until I found the twitch channel, theskylounge.tv This is a community of like minded people that really enjoy all different types of flights. For me it adds the sense of community I found in other, non-sim games, also somewhere to meet and talk when not simming via Discord. All of the flying is done via FS Cloud, and there is almost always someone willing to fire up a fly together. I recommend checking them out to anyone who may be feeling a little burnt out on the usual empty skies feeling that easily goes along with flight simulation. It's not for everyone, but I actually look forward to my days off and being able to fly!
  13. May I ask what platform you are experiencing this on?
  14. At its price point, I will wait and see how things shake out. There are certainly bugs and such that will be discovered when the masses get their hands on it. My main concern is how does it fit/work for those of us that wear glasses? I do think that the flight sim community has a lot to gain from VR. Lets hope it turns out to be as good as we all want it to be.
  15. Thank you sir. I just sent a license request through. I had previously purchased the NGX license, and moved that license file over to the new folder, but the server does not seem to recognize it. Do I need to repurchase that one as well? I would like to purchase the 777 license for sure. Will look out for your reply to arrange purchase.
  16. I just upgraded to Win10 a couple days ago. Went to update to the new 361.43 drivers via Nvidia's installer, and it failed repeatedly. Long story short, I had to do a clean manual install in safe mode to get the new drivers, and access to the Nvidia Control Panel back,. Thankfully the drivers were available on Nvidia's site. Read somewhere that soon the Nvidia GeForce Experience, and Win10 upgrade systems were going to soon be the only place to get updates. Had this been the case yesterday I truly would have been screwed.
  17. After having just upgrading to Win10, and repurchasing the 777 for P3D v3.1, I went to download the files from the links provided in previous posts. However it seems the file is no longer on the Avsim library. Where can I obtain the files from currently? Thanks in advance and I look forward to using this in my future 777/737 flights.
  18. Not sure why this has not been answered, or even viewed, but I can add a few more details. I have looked at the primary camera.cfg file, and the initial zoom for ezdok views is right where I would like it at 0.30. The only aircraft I am having the issue with is any of the PMDG 777 variants. NGX, and all others are normal. I have run the config tool in Ezdok, dug through various cfg files, set the default flight as a default aircraft, with the zoom levels I would like, and every other trick I can find. However, the problem persists. Can anyone provide some idea as to what I am doing wrong, or what I need to change? Again, any help would be appreciated.
  19. Lol, great minds think alike.
  20. David, Now that I have updated to P3D v3.1, I will investigate the issues you are having. Personally I have never actually used the 530 as I have always had the 750 installed. This may be another teething issue with v3.1. We are getting reports of a few others here and there.
  21. We are aware of this "Laser Light" situation, and are looking into correcting it. For whatever reason it only effects those using P3D v3 or v3.1. Any other platform and the lights work correctly.
  22. I have fueled this exact aircraft many times over the years. Will certainly have to add it to my fleet. On that note, there are a couple more that would be great additions to the fleet. One of my personal favorites is N27TT operated by Airnet for cargo hauling. As well as C-GIRE, another Canadian Air Ambulance that I have personally serviced many times. Both of these aircraft were represented in a plastic model kit many years ago, and I have a nice image of the decal sheet that came with that kit if it would make them easier to recreate. Just a couple more suggestions should you feel inclined.
  23. So I broke down and repurchased the 772 and 773 expansion, for use in my freshly installed P3D v3.1. The problem I am having as stated in the topic title, is that after everything I know to try, any time I load any version of the 777, the camera zoom defaults back to 0.7 in the VC, and 1.0 for outside views. And if I zoom out, change views, and return to the previous view, the zoom is again back at the default. I am using the latest version EZDOK, and tried adjusting the zooms, and saving the camera profiles in EZDOK, but they never "stick". I am posting this here as this is the only aircraft I am having the issue with. I looked at the aircraft.cfg file, and see that many of the default zoom levels are listed in there. Is this where I need to edit them? Or is it somewhere else? As always, any guidance or assistance would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to taking advantage of the decreased VAS usage and doing some long haul flights.
  24. Looks like another beautiful release with incorrectly, or not at all, modeled systems. Nothing new with Carenado. I would love to throw my money at them, but until they change their practices, I will not do so. Unfortunately there seem to be enough people willing to do just that, so any change on their part seems unlikely at best. I am still waiting for the Hawker to work correctly. Guess I am not Carenado's target audience.
