I was wondering if there is anything that FSUIPC can do over and above the MSFS controller settings (axis, sensitivities etc). Is there anything it does that makes things easier or adds features. There are a lot of options in it that I may be missing out on. I have the registered FSUIPC7 and following controllers; Thrustmaster Airbus TCA Sidestick Airbus Edition Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition For instance - the quadrant has a known issue with the Boeing reversers engaging, which I slightly need to move the levers forward and back again on touchdown to engage REV, which just distracts from my focus on the rollout briefly.

Hi, I have looked in other threads but none of the fixes have worked. All my power management options are off. When I minimize fsx, (e.g. to activate a pro atc x flight) the joystick will not work. Sometimes it is recognized in fsx controls, but doesn't work. But normally, it isn't recognized in fsx controls, nor does it work. I am using Windows 8.1 and the Mad Catz V.1 stick. Any ideas? Thanks Harry Karmel

Hello! I wrote a couple of addons to scratch a few itches I had with the main MSFS UI, such as: Favorites Tags Notes Auto control preset switching Custom location saving ++ The videos below are a bit long winded (ha!) but go into most of the detail. If you want to cut to the chase just check out the benefit/feature list on the website links below: Aircraft Manager for MSFS Location Manager for MSFS Free lite versions available as well. Any question, fire away! Happy flying!

I was so frustrated that I couldn't make individual custom axis profiles for each aircraft in MSFS, but I should have known that a smart developer would alleviate me of this frustration before too long. I just bought a program called Axis and Ohs by Lorbi (which is available to try for free), which makes setting custom controller axis and button profiles and templates a breeze. It's so easy to use! Has anyone tried this program yet? I'm surprised that I haven't heard a lot of excitement over this utility. It's genius and it works so well and solves a really big problem with MSFS (it also works with FSXSE and P3D!). You can change controller settings on the fly without having to go back to the main menu. I know that FSUIPC does the same thing in P3D, but Axis and Ohs (silly name!) works so much easier and cleaner than FSUIPC that I'm going to start using it for P3Dv5 also, instead of FSUIPC. This great utility is under $12 and it's free to try out. Please tell me if anyone else has tried this and is as excited about this utility as I am. I am amazed at how easy it is to use! Also Lorbi gives the best support.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQS8-MNWAdw With more than nine-teen thousand operations and more than forty million people yearly it is no surprise that Phoenix Sky Harbor is the ninth busiest airport in the US and twenty third busiest in the world. Harsh monsoons can plague Phoenix from July to September and raging sand storms bring all air traffic to an abrupt and grinding halt. With these hazardous weather conditions and the amount of traffic that Phoenix receives daily it is not surprising that Phoenix gets overloaded. The Phoenix Tracon and Local control are ready for the onslaught of traffic. So...are you up to the task of overloading? Join the Albuquerque ARTCC December 1st from 7EST-11EST (2359Z-0400Z) to see if you have what is takes to overload Phoenix. Please read over the pilot briefing to be familiar with Phoenix procedures and what you can expect from the controllers and what the controllers expect from you: http://zabartcc.org/....lot Brief.pdf" Terminal Charts: http://www.airnav.co...m/airport/KPHX" Enroute Charts: http://skyvector.com/" Will you be there?

hi guys I am new to flight sim. I am interested in passenger aircraft simming, specifically boeing and airbus. I am trying to setup a home sim system and would appreciate your advice on the hardware, controls and the overall system for FSX. I don't want to spend too much money on that and would be willing to spend 20 000-25 000$ for the complete system including pc, audio, monitors. For hardware controls I war to focus now on yoke, throttle and pedals. My questions: 1. Which are the most realistic throttles for boeing and airbus? Should I really spend more money on motorised ones or go with non motorised ones? 2. Which are the most realistic yokes for the same aircrafts? Same questions 3. Which are the most realistic pedals for the same aircrafts? 4. Which frames are advisable if I want to have at least 3 monitors and one touch monitor (for simulating panels, switches and other controls)? 5. I really want to have all system mounted on a motion system. Which 3 and 6DOF motion systems are good and budget ones? Is it possible to install column yoke and throttle on them? I would really appreciate your overall advice on such a system to me, as a newbie. Any suggestions and thoughts are welcome.

Hello! I was deciding between the Saitek yoke and rudder or the X55. Dont wanna get too indepth but is the X55 good for boeings like the NGX 737 and cessnas or would it make sense to get the 6 year old yoke? Will using an X55 feel weird and is it any good to set flaps as there isnt really a lever or anything like that? You get what I mean, If i want to fly Boeings and Cessnas, whats better? x55 or saitek yoke and rudder and what are the cons of both of them (the x55 and yoke, besides the rudder) and ill just tell me whats better for me. Please dont say its up to you, i dont want this to go too indepth, just looking for 1 or 2 straight forward answers Thanks in advance.
