Hi peeps! I have installed the FSX SDK today, but I'm having a lot of issues. I first installed it not to the default location, then uninstalled it and again installed it, this time in the default location. I don't know if this can help, but for some reason when I click on ConfigSDK and write Yes it crashes and also I don't see any SDK box in the FSX bar during the flight. But let's get to the point: the sp1a update doesn't install: when I run it it says: "This service pack requires the original release of Flight Simulator X (FSX) SDK, which you can find on Disk 1 of FSX Deluxe Edition. Please install this by first running Setup.exe in the Disk 1 SDK directory, and then start SDK SP1A installation ..." What can I do? Please help me!

Hi, I'm a FS2004 user. I'm installing new AI packages from World of AI. Due to past issues with an old version of Spanair package(CTD), I want to ask if there is a way to check a specific livery aircraft's location, time, date, etc... For example, yesterday I installed an Air Cairo package. It contains A320's aircraft for its livery. I have searched all the airports where Air Cairo lands at and I couldn't find any Air Cairos. Even on their hubs which is in HECA, HEGN and HESH. I changed several times the hours from dawn to night. It is a small package I think, it might have only 1 to 5 A320's in flight sim. Please note I'm asking this because if I go on and install all my new packages and if some might have textures problem like the old version of Spanair or other kind of problems, I can never find out all the issues, so I have to install them one by one to ensure everythings working well. Thanks in advance. Regards.

Hi there,I wonder if someone mught be able to point me in the right direction, thank you.I have installed the FS2Crew for 737NGX (Captains' Package) but I am having problems with the configuration post-install. I do not have FSX installed in the "common" location, rather on a different drive. I also have the PMDG installed in that location and all is working well. The FS2Crew installer detected my FSX installation path and I can see that it has been installed in the correct place- but when I try to start the configuration editor I get the message:"Sorry, the PMDG 737 NGX doesw not appear to be installed!""Before using this product you need to purchase it from the PMDG website."I then click on "OK" which opens the FS2Crew configuration editor. If I then click on say "Button Control" and then "Enable FS2Crew Button Control" I get a further error popping up saying:"PMDG 737NGX NOT FOUND:C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 737-800NGX\panel\panel.cfg"It is as if the configuration editor is looking for the gauges to edit in the wrong place - it's not looking in the place where FSX (and the PMDG planes) are installed. From inside the FS2Crew installation directory I also ran the "\FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGX\Registry Check\FSX\FSXRegUtility.exe" which finds the FSX install directory so I am not sure what the problem is.Is the FS2Crew configuration editor hard-coded to look in the path in the error message or perhaps there is still a registry key which is pointing at an old install directory that the configuration editor is looking at. Would anyone know what that is or know what I need to do to get the FS2Crew configuration editor to look at the right path? Thanks very much for any pointers you might have.Kind regards,James Gillies

If we do a FANCON 2014 next year, where do you think it should be held? Okay, some caveats and rules... Nominated cities must be in the U.S. continental 48 states or in Canada. Major cities only. Only one nomination per city please - check nominations before you submit yours. Multiple nominations will be discarded. You can only submit one nomination. Multiples from the same person will be discarded. All nominations will be put to a vote upon closing of the nominations. Nominations will close on July 10th, 2013. This is a serious endeavor folks. If you are not serious about the location or attending, please do not bother to participate. Okay, we are now open for city nominations for the 2014 FANCON. Tell us where you think we should hold it, if we do a FANCON next year.

Hi, I uninstalled Flight Toolkit then reinstalled. However, it did not reinstall the Flight Toolkit folder in Program Files. Where is flight toolkit even installed? I can't seem to find it or the tools it provides. And after I uninstall it, My MS Flight is still in the toolkit "mode", but I have uninstalled it. How does this work? Where is it installing and how do I remove it so I can do a proper install? Thanks, Aaron.

Hello All, I am about to wipe my PC and start again from fresh, spring cleaning if you like (just a little late). I have backed everything up but I wanted to double check, which PMDG file holds the key assingments and short cuts? and where can I find this file/s? I hope that by backing up this file (that stores the key assignments and short cuts) I won't have to spend hours re assigning everything once I have reinstalled both FSX and PMDG's B777. Many Thanks Kimberly Richmond-Jones
