Hi everyone! I have been a fan of FSX for quite some time and i recently decided to give P3D V3 a go. So far so good, everything looks much better than in FSX and it even runs much faster. I do have a problem tho, I am not sure if I am really getting the entire eye-candy that I should get, because I do see videos on youtube of people who managed to make the entire sim look almost perfect. Right now I'm having one particular problem I have seen in other threads for P3D V2 and V2.5, basically, SimObjects are just too dark at night, you almost can't see them, there's just a black silhouette where the aircraft or simobject is supposed to be. Allow me to illustrate. Notice also how the concrete is a light yellow color, this, as far as I know, is not normal at all. I would also like to point out that I have installed REX4, ORBX Vector and the airports you see are FSDreamTeam KIAH and Airsoft London Heathrow respectively. The concrete being yellow might be a problem not with the simulator itself, but with the airport. I have all settings turned up to max and quite a beast of a computer. I have also messed with the Prepar3D.cfg file to turn up the exposure and tweak the HDR, but the only thing it does is make everything bright, including the sky and the airport itself. I get a message pop-up from FSX on load telling me the drivers for my secondary gfx card (5770) need updating. It's annoying so to prevent it from popping up I simply remove the display device listing from FSX.cfg. Well if I edit the graphics options within FSX of course it changes the .cfg and re-adds the display device entries. So I went in today to remove them again and actually bothered to look at them instead of just highlighting it all and deleting and noticed there are a lot of settings that don't show for my main display. Hi All, After Re-Installing Windows because of some series of problems,I Installed fsx and tweaked it like before. Hello everyone First of all I want to thank you for reading my post. I have flown in fsx for some time now and I have some addons (aerosoft a319 and asn). My frames are mostly around 30 when I start the sim. But when I fly for 10 mins, my frames drop and fluctuate around 5-25. I know my system is not the best. (see settings below) I would be very gratefull if somebody could help me find the right settings/tweaks. I know this sounds lazy but I realy tried everything. Even the very good guide published here on these forums. I just don't know wich ones I should use and wich I should not. I will be very grateful if somebody could help me. System specs: (and yes it's a laptop but I'm only 14 and I can only buy these things with pocket money). Hi All, A week-end spent trying to reduce the popcorn cloud visuals in P3D and I think I've run out of juice. With all the test flights I took today in various aircraft as I was tweaking, this one stuck out from the rest for some reason. Climbing through FL220 heading towards KSEA. Enjoy! Mike

Hi all. I'd like to switch the prop model on the C185F Amphibian from Carenado. Right now, it uses the three-blade version, like a C182 has. I'd like to switch it to a two-bladed, C172 style prop. How would I go about such a switch?
