November 27, 201213 yr When I saw this thread and opened it, the first post sounded like someone who did a lot of the things I did. When I checked the name.....it was me. Holy cow..... I must have lost a few more memory cells since then. (grin) I will be 79 in a week and still simming as much as possible, play golf up to four days a week and play music at church on a regular basis. I keep rebuilding the computer so I can stay current with all of the latest scenery and planes. I never thought back when I started simming, when all was green with a few white lines, that it would ever be as good as it is now. It makes you wonder what it will be like in another ten years. Best wishes to you all, Tom
December 15, 201213 yr Seventy eight and counting....MS Simulation (FSX) has permitted this ex USAF crew member (C-47 & B-26) to obtain his commercial pilots ticket (NGX) despite being color blind....Fantasy is better than nothing!
December 30, 201213 yr Don't judge me. I am fourteen with over 800 plus hours on IFR. I know auto landing for both Boeing and airbus. I started "landed my first autoland" on PMDG 744 back when I was 10. Currently I am flying for my PPL in real life!

February 10, 201313 yr My good friend Bill who got me into flight simming will be 90 in May 2013. May 11th I think. He still flies but not as much because he also does a lot of video work on his system. I'll be 52 in April. Was born on the Northcoast, where they coined the phrase that they still call Rock-n-Roll! February 10, 201313 yr The stages of ageing... First you forget names, Then you forget faces, Then you forget to pull your zipper up, Then you forget to pull your zipper down. Side note.... the examiner for my SEL checkride was allegedly 89 at the time.
