I have just noticed the rule about signing each post with my real name. Since my username is my real name, do I still need to add it at the end of each post?

1334 to be precise. And if you count ALL pdf pages of all included pdf's (so including the introduction, the tutorial and the pages that are doubled (some pdf's contains pages that others do too) there are 1562 pages.

:( It seems that you don 't want to devellop anymore products for FS9Too bad i have almost all your products but i will not be one of your customer in the near future as I will not go for FSXAnd i am far from the only one to think that FSX doesn t bring much more than FS9 except that it is very frame rate hungry but you can t run it full throttle even with a up do date comp configuration.Maybe MS sell more FSX than FS9 now but that s only coz it is harder to find FS9 in the stores. What you have to know is that the majority of buyers just use the product as it and do not get in depth with addons.Anyway thanks for your work until now and......See you back maybe on the next version of flightsim if it hopfully brings novelty.

Your statement "but you can t run it full throttle even with a up do date comp configuration" is simply no longer true. I currently get over 100 fps in the PMDG MD-11 for FSX with most sliders full right. That being said, PMDG's development for FS9 is not over. The J41 product, however, will be FSX only.

You must have one hell of a system, because I average 10-15 fps in FSX and mine was top-of-the-line 12 months ago. In FS9, I average over 40 fps. Not everyone can afford the kind of monster you obviously have, Vin. I think Sanook makes a valid point too - FS9 is getting VERY difficult to find in the shops, compared to FSX. Unfortunately, I have no say in this but I think concentrating the majority of PMDG's efforts (and that of other developers) on FSX will turn out to be an unwise move commercially.

Just out of curiosity Vin, may I ask what are the specs of your rig?:)

You probably can get 100 FPS with the MD-11 with most sliders to the right when airborne and at high altitute (crusing). But no way you can get those FPS with the MD-11 at a detailed airport when taxing or even parked. :(

Oh I can with a 3 year old computer in fsx...well 30 fps on the ground in a heavy area such as ny with addons weather and such. Its a reality

Steven Penninck

He said 100 fps, not 30.

You must be a lucky one with 3 years old PC 30 fps at heavy airports. I have latest DELL 630! XPS. IntelQ9550, 8GB ram and Nvaidia GX 280 card Maximum I can get around 8-11 fps at heavy airports KJFK/KEWR) . Not all slides on MAX.RegardsSanal

Thats weird. You should be getting more than me. I have a q6600 with 4gb and an 8800gts with most sliders to the left. Have you really tweaked it?
He said 100 fps, not 30.
So, does it really make a difference?Guys I know that you all like fs9 more...I was the same, but I gave fsx a few chances and it started to grow on me. I figured it out and I get good frames with it now. I like it. I don't know about you, but 25-30 fps on the ground is awesome for me even in fs9. I almost get the same frames in fs9 as fsx.
