ut2 will not load any traffic if you start the flight in any helo. they said the latest hotfix fixes this problem but it certainly does not. they are crazy over there if they think it does. everyone still having issues with no traffic in helos. i am also getting planes driving off the runway, lining up backwards on the runways, planes running into each other, go arounds galore, etc. This product is pretty awesome for the most part but it is still chock full of bugs that need to be fixed ASAP.

Thaeller - No, I have had it since the day it was released. The only problem I have had is with the PDF not dislaying the time tables. That was fixed with a hotfix today. I haven't tried loading with a helo, but the prior work around was to load a flight with a fixed wing, then switch to a helo. The helo problem is supposed to be fixed with the latest patch, but I haven't tried a flight when loading with a helo. If it still doesn't work I am sure they will get it corrected.As far as planes running into each other, parking backwards, running off the runway, go arounds galore, etc. I have not experience any of that. On their support board I haven't seen anyone mention these problems. All UT2 does is inject the AI, it doesn't control how they park, ATC handling, etc. The problem that user is having may be deeper than UT2 and perhaps AFCAD issues or something else with FSX being messed up.I am running with 100% airline and have better FPS and no go-arounds, since switching to UT2 from WOAI. IMHO well worth the money spent. If you try and don't like you get a refund. Nothing to lose.Good luck.

No helo flying here, my problem happens with fixed-wing. I think running with very high settings + high fidelity aircraft could be causing the aircraft not to load sometimes since I may be taxing my system too much. I am going to mess around with it and see what happens. Nobody else seems to have this issue so I am sure it is something on my end.

Lucky me I guess. I was at khef lastnight and a cessna was on runway 16R facing the wrong way! I was also in the pattern and saw an embraer get waved off from atc and he went around. Then when it was my turn i got told by atc to go around 2 times in a row. the night before i saw a beech running around doing circles in the grass near the wind sock. Fairly fresh install of fsx within a month. Only thing out of the ordinary is that I uninstalled trafficx to use ut2 instead. I am seeing these issues here. windows 7 rc1 x64 if that makes any difference. the oddities dont really bother me all that much but the no traffic in helos is a major pita that they need to fix for me asap since I mostly fly helos.

Hello,It's been a while since we exchanged posts here. I would double check the folder that contains AFADs. I don't have UT2 yet, it's one of the only traffic programs I have never tried yet. I know previous versions of this program installed their own AFCADs and the parking codes did not always jive with custom AFCADs. I would always dump the UT AFCADs and ensure the parking codes in the aircraft cfg matched those in the AFCADs already in my addon sceneries. I could be wrong in this case.Keith

Hello.I am seriously considering buying UTII but am a bit concerned if it proves that my system can't handle it well or it's not to my liking. Can UTII be uninstalled easily and if having done that, do the original default AI traffic remain? Is the FSX SDK needed to be installed on my system to run and work UTII? I don't have the SDK. ThanksJohn

Dont worry, you will most likely get better performance even at higher traffic levels. There are a few bugs they are working out still such as no AI when using a helo but I think over all you will be very pleased. One nice thing is that you can now turn off the jetway animation with the click of a button! That one will make a big difference in performance.Have fun!Jim

You have a pre-sales customer service area for those who are considering purchase and a service/tech support area for people who own the product.. Thank you! I am glad to know this will not be a conflict when I do buy UT2. Now that I am aware of the bug affecting AI when flying helos I will wait until it has a fix. Otherwise I would have no traffic for nearly all of my time on FSX.

Why wait and not start enjoying now? All you have to do is create your flight with the default Cessna then when it loads, switch to your chopper of choice. Easy as that and will only take you about 1 minute more to get started.
