I'll go ahead and ask for stuff 3rd party can not fix:1)I say fix the lighting. Still too cartoonish. 2)Also create cloud shawdows so when its cloudy it gets dark. The planes don't create as strong shawdows. etc.3)Fix the snow effect that was destroyed in fSX.4)Fix autogen pop and bring back alpha fade5)slopped runways6)better weather station transitions.7)ability to declare emergencies8)better ground handling. Taxing still is like riding ice.9)better multicore and multi gpu support so we can have extended scenery radius, better autogen textures (they are too cartoonish still), even denser scenery, etc.10) last but not least Please please give us solid overcasts and less translucent clouds

If they just took the best of all the 3rd party add ons, like they did in FSX with Active Camera, most everyone would be pleased. Such as Radar Contact to improve ATC, REX to improve the environment, WOAI, Fly Tampa airport scenery and ActiveSky for a weather engine. Can you think of any others? I'm sure there is an excellent flight planner, FMC, etc. We should have a user vote on the best 3rd party add ons to integrate on the next FSv. That should be a whole new thread, huh? Then if they made it all run smoothly, at least 24fps on any reasonable equipped computer, no hiccups, no scenery dropout, no frame loss, no CTD's, etc. Then if they could, as someone mentioned earlier in this thread, have realistic lighting levels on cloudy and sunny days, below the deck and above the deck. How cool would that be?
If they did that the sim would coset well over 200 bucks, and I'm sorry but I would never pay that much for it, unless it was well worth it, wouldn't have virtually no bugs, and was almost perfect. I would like it to stay at 59 USD, because its affordable for everyone.

If it is a wish list, I wish for all that and more at only $59. Your right $200 would defeat the purpose. But as it is right now I spent $59 for 2002, 2004 and FSX (which I don't use as my machine can't handle it well), then include all the add ons, utilities and scenery I've bought and downloaded over the years; then there is the extra RAM, Saitek joystick and finally of course my measly donations to AVSIM, I'm easily at or over $200.Still, since I can't afford the real thing, it's better than nothing.

pay 200 on fs v = evan will not be able to get fsv without getting a new job i dont like that part

;Ejector seats like the character gets fired out of the plane or just a model of the switch and triggers you need to operate it?Here are a few more ideas:
  • Just thought of this, it would be nice to see a aircraft load sheet in the kneeboard that shows you the Zero Fuel Weight Center Gravity (ZFW CG), Center of Gravity, (CG), Fuel Load, Gross Weight, Passengers onboard, Cargo Weight, which brings up...

First I want to say, WOW what an amazing aircraft PMDG has developed, I guess they have been looking at some of the things on this thread, so some things are possible in FSX after all, eh? Well done PMDG! Hope you see this message. I know people might be wondering where I'm going with this... Look at this picture! http://www.precisionmanuals.com/priv/img/p...s/js4100_10.htmIts little things like this that can make the sim a whole lot more realistic and enjoyable. Like I was saying if they have something like this in the next FS it would help us out a lot, because just like in real life, we just have to look over at our load sheet, if entering something in the FMC/MCDU. Check out the JS4100 page (http://www.precisionmanuals.com/priv/pages/prod/fsx/js4100.html)
Additional Features: Detailed Icing Model - Realistic icing effects accumulate on various parts of the aircraft depending on the current weather, as well as the ice protection system settings at the time. * Speed Cards - a speed card booklet (based on the actual speed cards used in the real aircraft) is located in the captain's side pocket next to the pedestal, and can be accessed by clicking on it. All operating weights are included. * An interactive load sheet is displayed on the captain's side clipboard in the VC (it can be hidden when not in use). Pilots will be able to adjust fuel weight, passenger weight and cargo load for each flight, and the rest of the load sheet information will be automatically updated based on weights.

Option, for what? Why not just select an alternate and fly there if required? :( Or do you mean the flight planner? ATC purposes? You can handle both today using third party addons.

Some more requests:

  • In multiplayer display who is talking
  • In multiplayer instead of a chat or friend request interrupting the game, make it less intrusive, such as a transparent slide in or pop up
  • I thought of a cool scheme, where there is a chat box and like in other games (For example fps like f.e.a.r.) you see messages of the last xx seconds on the screen, even if the chat box is closed, and you can toggle if you want to see the display of messages while the chatbox is closed. This way you can fly and not forget to check the chat window.

Or you could just use Teamspeak or Skype.Joe

i thought microsoft wasnt going to be continuiing FS anymore due to the ACES shutdown. Is this not true?

FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠

ahh i see..that sucks. I was gettin excited. Anyways, that being said, here is my list. Motion blurbetter simulation of ground effectoptimized game enginebetter terrain and altittude perception....10000ft doesnt feel like 10000ft and same with other alt.better flight models...this is a mustbetter visuals in generalthe ground handlign needs to be alot better along with ground friction (most planes taxi with idle thrust...this is not possible in FS)

Microsoft is indeed making a new flight simulator game, no doubt about that, even Phil Taylor announced a flying game is in development at microsoft. ACES is now in Microsoft Game Studios (MGS). Only thing is we don't know what kind of flying/simulator it will be.Something that is SERIOUSLY bugging me in the game. The gauges in the default planes. Mainly the default C172. The gauges need to be SMOOTH! I was trying to do the IFR checkride in the learning center since yesterday and I'm still trying to complete it, but the guages update so slowly, and the attitude indicator is so slow, that before you know it your instructor will say you did not pass!If someone knows some kind of way to make the gauges in the C172 smoother, please tell me. I am in desperate need...

My solution for that is the RXP Flightline N and T gauges.
Thanks for the help, but... I found out there is a bug in the flight lessons and its not suprising since these lessons were originaly developed for FS2002. It caused me soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much trouble. I have still been trying, and I just searched online to figure out the solution so here I go again, I am confident I'll be able to do it this time.
