A couple of months ago I was convinced FSX was slowly fading into obscurity but the addons released since then have been truly groundbreaking (perhaps they have to be to keep us interested now). I think we will look back on 2009 as the year FSX finally came alive and I am sure there will be a lot of other previously complacent developers who will throw their hands up now and ask themselves how they can possibly compete!(Having said that, I can't help wondering how long it will be before I will want to push that passenger out of the door :( )I have to agree, just installed FSX a month ago along with REX, GEX, UT2, and having a ball......will be giving it the W7 treatment next week..........posts say this is a big improvement as well, we will see!! I can't say enough good about this one. I've been simming for 23 years and this is the first I can say I truly feel I've been in an airplane. The original Dreamfleet Archer had some of the same effect on me, but this is so much richer it's in a whole different league.Run, don't walk!Alan

HAH! Yeah I told my beautiful better half that I was in the market for the PMDG J41 AND the A2A Cub - I even showed her the video of heidi screaming during the spin lol!

How are the frame rates. I'm starting to limp along on my now 2 year old machine and need to consider this now. I usually get about 15FPS which isn't too bad but only about 10FPS with the Flight1 Cessna Mustang (but boy is it worth every drop in lost frames!)ThanksDoug
