August 17, 201015 yr Hi Robert,The LCF is looking excellent! Just a quick question, in one of the screenshots on the product page, it shows the LCF next to the Boeing hangars at Paine Field, was just wondering which scenery that was? I think that is Orbx's FTX NA Blue Pacific Northwest but I could be wrong (don't own it yet but have see pics) Jay Vorkapic
August 17, 201015 yr Commercial Member We'll have a big announcement about a smaller airplane a bit later in the week....Stay tuned!Goosebumps....J.Esajas
August 17, 201015 yr Commercial Member Pity this isn't for FS9 as well. Unfortunately if this trend continues, PMDG will have permanently lost one previously very happy customer. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/273567-pmdgs-position-on-fs2004-development-21jan10/ Noah Bryant

August 17, 201015 yr I think that is Orbx's FTX NA Blue Pacific Northwest but I could be wrong (don't own it yet but have see pics)You are absolutely right that is indeed ORBX PNW. It is a great place to test fly and fly this beauty into. Mike Keigley
August 17, 201015 yr Captains!Okay- this is going to be "announcement week" here in the PMDG forum!Lets start out with something small... Or...actually...something BIG!We have just pushed the final beta of the PMDG 747-400 Large Cargo Freighter out to the beta team. We anticipate that this product will be available to you within 24-48hrs!This product is a bit different than many of the others we've released- as it came about thanks to the kindness of our friends at Boeing, who provided us with a bunch of engineering information on the physical design of the airplane.Never ones to miss a challenge, we decided it would be fun to put this airplane, along with some of its functionality into FSX!With the PMDG 747-400 LCF, you will not only be able to fly around in the largest volume cargo aircraft in the sky- you'll be able to load and unload some of the very valuable loads that provide this airplane with employment!Whether you pick up fuselage sections, wings, tail components, or just fly the airplane empty- the PMDG 747-400LCF will give you a completely new arena of missions and opportunities for your 747-400 flying! The LCF is a product extension to the 747-400, and does not update any of the functionality of the aircraft, but adds the fully animated 747-400LCF into your flightsim environment for you to enjoy! The product page is available here: http://www.precisionmanuals.com/pages/product/74l.htmlWe'll have a big announcement about a smaller airplane a bit later in the week....Stay tuned!Good grief, When it rains it pours. With the announcement of Microsoft new offering Flight and we have a huge week! Looking forward to the announcement! Mike Keigley
August 17, 201015 yr ...OH MY GOD...and I thinks I done a little wee :( .. now, no-one saw that coming and we thought all was lost.......Do microsoft actually know what there doing, I sure in saying that the whole flight sim community had written off the next developement from microsoft a long, long time ago due to there dramatic press release..................
August 17, 201015 yr Phew! About time we get some announcements ! :)Can't wait to hear more. Thank you! Blake Williams
August 17, 201015 yr Pity this isn't for FS9 as well. Unfortunately if this trend continues, PMDG will have permanently lost one previously very happy customer. It would seem a pity to abandon PMDG in this fashion. Seriously, if you can afford it, upgrade your system to run FSX - you absolutely won't regret it!Regards, Louis Vallance | P3D v4.5 (no shaders) | i9-9900K | 32GB | RTX 2080
August 17, 201015 yr Does this smaller aircraft perhaps have propellers?I was thinking the same thing too. :( Supporter GhostRecon.net | AGgReSsion WhiteKnight77's Place Mike Shannon
August 17, 201015 yr I was thinking the same thing too. :(I really hope so! :( Who needs a 737..? *duckandrun* Regards. Matthias Hanel MilViz Beta Team
August 17, 201015 yr Maybe its the long awaited Wood Pigeon!!!!!!!!! Keep up the great work PMDG, and thanks for the update!! August 18, 201015 yr c'mon baby...the number of really good VA flights I want to do with Virgin and Pacific Blue but can't because there's a significant lack of a QUALITY B737-800 for FSX :( Still though...isn't it nice, as a developer, to know that you have willing customers just waiting for you to release a product! :) but please oh please...try your best to prevent it from being offered on piratebay 30 secs after release. I cringe every time I do a search for a product and see the amount of torrent uploads available. J Thomas YBBN
