A little Heads-Up on the NGX...

Bob- ;) Glad you have at least looked at it, eventhough it might be impossible to completely get rid of the jerkiness. PUP4ORD: Maybe its a really inappropriate plane? :D

You said it's too clean looking ? Well your bringing out a new aircraft so what's the matter with it looking like it's fresh out the factory ? :)JAMMUR
JAMMUR,I don't think you are getting it. "Clean looking" has nothing to do with being "brand new" or freshly out of factory. It has to do with 'CGI' like or with 'cartoon' like or with lack of adequate texture feel or with 'being flat'. I don't know how else to explain this, for most people it is a fairly intuitive thing.

Don't beat me up to bad if I use the wrong terms. I've had the chance to fly a couple real simulators (Southwest) in my experience when coming in on an ILS approach and AIII active there was a smaller circle on the HUG which represented the ILS path. And the pilot would follow this path by placing the velocity vector over the small circle and maintaining that full eclipse (so to speak) to maintain the ILS approach. In the pictures I don't see anything that represents the same. Is this due to limitations of the system or maybe version platform based items of the HUGS systems in the real aircraft.Just wondering.....but looks very good, my Track IR will be used a lot more. I like to request a set of profiles and effects for the Track IR be supplied also.WT

Hey Robert. The HGS looks great. Just one question. I know this is work in progress, hence why it isn't present in your shot(s). I noticed you were in AIII mode. But on the flight path symbol, I didn't see the guidance cue. IE the "doughnut" Will this be a part of your HGS system. That is the main indicator used for AIII approaches. We can doo them down to 500RVR now with 50' DH. Very interesting when you do one for real. Did a hand flown 700RVR into SMF one night. That runway reference symbol, sure gives you a warm fuzzy. :( At any rate, hopefully you'll have that integral and very important component in the HGS system for your 737NGX. As I mentioned, looking forward to her release. May you and oyurs, have a blessed Thankgsgiving.Best,David William BarnettEDIT: Robert, should have clarified. I was reffering to the Honeywell HGS 2300's and or the 4000. In the screenshot, it looks like your AIII mode, is the ILS mode on the Honeywell. So, you may be using another model of HGS, if so; apologies.

Sorry if I would have read all the pages instead of skipping around I would have seen someone already asked the question.

OK OK, Of course I understand. I just think to myself that surly nothing can beat the Airbus at this moment I am as much as everyone here excited about the release of the NGX and also I know that it WILL be a better looking aircraft I just cant imagine it yet :DJAMMUR

So was there a point where you subsitiuted the exterior model? ;)So does PMDG have drawn a critical path analysis? and you keep to that as best as you can? Or is it not the right business model to implement a critical path/
Dude, I learned about using a critical path in my stats 3 class about a month ago. We had a test over that and other things......I got an 89. :( lol Its just crazy that you mentioned that.
