How? on the charts the waypoints dont state the lat/lon co-ords (like they do on the Australian charts).

Yeah this makes sense about comparing a rival product in PMDG forum. I know I wouldn't like it if someone started critizing my algorithms with my rivals algorithms. But anyways I have a question, is the 737 NGX going to be more FPS frindly than the 747-400 and the MD-11. NOT that I'm comparing these planes by any means but the 767-300ER (not stating the developer), is really lightweight on the FPS. I know PMDG is putting ample detail into this plane which is good but is it going to be frame rate frindly? Greg M Selenski (1164730)
We don't know for sure yet - we're shooting for something akin to the MD-11 - performance is quite good in the current alpha.

Ryan- in an earlier post there is mention of no RNP approaches in the current NaVDTA.Can you confirm that this is true and that it is possible.-thanks

I have a minor request....can the numeric keypad be used to input FMC data (i.e. winds entries) in keyboard mode? In past PMDG products this data is entered by the numbers above the "qwerty" letters, I find it much easier and intuitive to use the numpad.

In the PMDG 737NGX, the numeric keypad on your keyboard does work to input fmc data.

It will be possible to conduct RNP approaches, but you must have the appropriate data for these approaches. PMDG does not supply this data. Most people use Navigraph - they probably won't have this data either, until an EAG (data supplier to Navigraph) client requests it.This is not much different to Boeing - RNP approach capability has been available for years - the problem is certification and availability of these approaches.Cheers,Nick Jones

Yes, it is for satellite TV. And yes, PMDG already stated it would be an option that is user selectable via the MCDU.

Nice picture of the antenna internals.. Now for the $100 question! Do you all think PMDG modeled all that detail into their antenna dome? :( heh, had to say it. I'm mostly poking fun at all the die-hard nit pickers critiquing what is already a masterpiece but in all honesty, with the level of detail, I wouldn't put it past them to include it. :biggrin:AND... Big thumbs up for the num pad input.

I'm sure there's an animated antenna under the fixed dome. It's for when you haven't optimized your cfg file & have to run in skeleton mode Big%20Grin.gif
