There is a huge market for the NG:http://www.cockpitsonic.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=3&Itemid=27http://www.sim-construct.com/http://www.flyengravity.com/http://www.simaviatik.com/en/index.php?show=advancedAnd there are plenty more out there I am sure.Be careful, as it can get out of control pretty quickly, rich or not.If I had a choice, I would prefer to get an fms:http://www.flyengravity.com/photo_popup.html?http://www.flyengravity.com/products/large_00000006_0006.jpgIt sure makes life easier.Good luck, and hope we all enjoy the baby no matter what hardware we use.

Reviews? meh. They won't be selling much if your name needs to be Richard for it to work. What are these guys thinking of? Just%20Kidding.gifalthough maybe I can try it too, often people call me... well nevermind

OMG!!!!!First of all I would like to congratulate the PMDG team to getting so close to finishing of a product that in my assumption will revolutionise the FSX experience.I have followed over the last few years the NGX topics that were opened then closed new ones started all the hassle with people asking when will it be finished and people even throwing tantrums as just recently.I have been flying Flight Sim longer then some guys are members of any of the forums around on the net. I started flying Microprose Flight Sim on Atari 1024 and I have seen it all From MS FS all the way through to FSX.Now we have a company in the midst of us that has made the flight sim community a lot richer by giving us planes that are second to none.So guys please, please, please shut up, wait for the release, let the guys finish it and then start moaning if there actually is a reason to moan.Robert, Ryan, Dr Vaos, etc and all of PMDG. Thx for all your time you invested and hope to see you around for many more nice planes to come.IanP.S.RobertIf Dr Vaos doesn't like to be called Dr Vaos then you shouldn't call Dr Vaos Dr Vaos! It isn't nice to call Dr Vaos Dr Vaos if Dr Vaos doesnt' wan't to be called Dr Vaos

Just a little question from me while we're waiting:Does anyone konw what those Wheel Well lights are for?Thank you
Wheel Well lights: Some planes are equipped with additional lights in the nose and main gear wheel wells. These lights are provided primarily to assist ground personnel in making pre-flight inspections of a plane at night.:(

System: Intel i7-6700k Skylake CPU, 4 Cores (4.0-4.2GHz, Overlocked 20%), Asus Z170 PRO GAMING MBO, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 8GB, Corsair Hydro H80i V2 CPU Cooler, Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO DDR4 3200 C16 2x8GB, Windows 10 Home 64-bit (512GB M.2 PCIe SSD), Prepar3D V4.5 (1TB Samsung 850 EVO SSD), 4TB SSHD Hybrid Drive, EVGA GQ 80 PLUS Gold 850W Modular PSU

Question to the sounds of PMDG: Can we hear the unevenness/roughness of the runway in the cockpit when taxing, take-off and rolling out after landing? I mean, if you taxi at the apron you usually hear: "kadung, kadung, kadung" because the wheels are rolling over the concrete plates*. Sometimes you also hear, when taking-off and landing(rolling-out), that the wheels are rolling above the runway lights in the center line. Do we hear this sounds aswell?* You also see the wing flexibility at this moment? Even when taxing you see the wings are moving abit.

If you are regarding the green wheel well lights to the right of the engine nr 2 fire handle in the cockpit, it's the wheel well fire warning light, one for each main gear wheel well L and R.

Airport Enhancement Services (AES) by Aerosoft simulates the sound of the runway lights. Maybe give it a try.

Ronan,Thanks for the info, I,ve checked out some,One is a 737 Yoke Cirrus Model by Precision Flight Controls, don't know how much it costs yet.It would be good if the PMDG Team could some time in the near future recommend a particular set up that works very wellwith the NGX.Regards,Stewart T
