I recken it wont cost $150 :( Could cost more, could cost less? They could release the 600/700 then the 800/900 later at a small upgrade charge. You never know. Its even possible that the 600/900 may not be ready yet. They could be, they might not be.Enough speculation for one day, and let the devs get on with the job :(

Not sure of the method to my madness, but Im only now spotting for a release presser on key dates such as Friday, Sundays. Im thinking the wider team gets it this weekend. I knew the NGX had to be in beta for about a month now, which turned out to be a good gut feeling.

You know, this all actually reminds me of when i was purchasing the PMDG 747-400X, and i was checking out the other aircraft on their website out of curiosity, and i noticed that the NGX was in production.I said to myself "No way would i ever want to fly anything that small, not even going to consider it when it comes out." Well as it would turn out, long haul turned out to be a drag and i ended up doing short haul with the 747 anyway. Then the previews of this started coming, i started falling fast. I realized, this thing isn't even just another plane, it also represents the NG of FSX flight simming. Safe to say i've grown quite a liking to medium haul aircraft They are quite nice.Never would have thought that I would be sitting here waiting anxiously for this to be released. Already planned 11 legs (7 days worth of flying) into various airports to take advantage of it. Or maybe i am completely overthinking this and taking everything too seriously, I guess i get excited easily..

Im not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but what framerates were acheived in the test videos?

What roar sound? Have you been in an NG cockpit on takeoff? We've actually got the engines louder than they really are for effect right now...

This is what I thought when I watched the takeoff video. I hope we'll be able to adjust the sound for realism. I don't like addons where I can hear the engine as though I am outside on the wing or something.

The "roar" sound is probably better reffered to as a Growl sound at T/O power from the main fan (N1). During taxi, the wooosh sound you hear during power changes to maintain or accelerate taxi speed is the VBV or Variable Bleed Valve I believe. Mostly heard in the cabin.Just my opinion.

Maybe it's a Canadian instinct? My gut told me that we were in beta since about late March-early April. That's when they said they planned on starting beta but they pushed it back to clean some things up. They also said then that they would let us know after it entered beta. Anyway, I also think it should be in the wider team's hands by this weekend. I'm crossing my fingers for a Monday release, because it's my birthday and this would be the best present, but realistically I'm thinking maybe the week after that... which is still a great belated present.
