Nameless-(No, your parents didn't name you "GreNgX" so don't even try me. :( )At 2:29p US PDT on Sunday I posted an update in which I explained that my debugging efforts were preventing me from focusing on the video....You must have missed it.Unfortunately it appears that tonight might be more of the same. I'm digging into a problem with the hydraulic PTU that prevents the flaps from coming up while the PTU is active. Not a good thing for those of us who routinely fly around mountains- and we don't want to kill any of our beta testers or attract unwanted attention from the vFAA this close to delivery- so I'm focusing on the PTU. :( As soon as I get some feem time on the my plate I'll put one together for you. I have something very cool to show!
Sounds good Robert, thank you for the update.

LMAO.gif It would be so ridiculous if they had one of those (maybe one day haha)!Regards

Best regards, happy flying,

Cpt.R. that was a great update and really gives a little insight into the massive amount of work and gray hair that is involved in building a mega-complex 737NG.I don't post a lot, but keep close track of your updates. I wouldn't worry much about posting videos. YouTube will be flooded with videos made with the NGx once it is released. I enjoy reading your updates more than videos anyway. You're doing it perfectly. We've waited this long, we can wait the extra time involved in making the masterpiece. As soon as it's released, we'll all forget the wait anyway. We'll be too busy flying.Big%20Grin.gifBob

Power Transfer Unit (http://en.wikipedia....r_transfer_unit - I promise it's not a Rick video)Besides Airbuses, you can also hear that noise on a 737-300 "Guppy." Not sure if the -500's make the sound in the cabin.
thanks aj, informative as I remember I heard that sound quite often while either at the gate after boarding or during taxi and always wondered what that was. learned something. nice.

A sentiment that we deeply appreciate. :(

How many hours a day do you all work on this plane? It must be a lot and until deep into the night. I always see Ryan an Robert writing in this forum at a time when it must be night in the States. Keep up the good work!

Please, we all know the bus is the best...biggrin.gif
Have you forgotten the Woodpigeon? :( It can carry far more than both togeather and it needs even less runway.

Greetings from the 737 flightdeck!

PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM

You can find us at:  http://forum.pmdg.com

I wonder why a video was announced "in a couple of hours or so" on saturday night, and then... Nothing. I understand the team is pretty busy but a few words to say "sorry guys i can't do it for this and that" does not kill... And is better than leaving a whole bunch of supporters (we are no customers anymore but real fans you guys should cherish :() like starving monkeys which we are not.Now i have waited too long and i decided to uninstall FSX, reinstall FS2000 and use the default brown 737 ... Oh gosh, help me find the landing gear in that bloody 1D cockpit ! :( :( GreNgX
They didn't say which saturday nor which year!Bert Van BUlck
Our A320s and 737s never seem to struggle! Party.gif
OK! That's interesting. In the sim, my 737 always struggle, even with short runway configuration, it's 50/50 up in the air (just) or death to all. I will see how the NGX copes if or when..... In reality, I have been going to Gibraltar for years for business and I've never seen a 737 there.Chris Farrell
