Question: Which FS2Crew version do you use the most?

Featured Replies

I wish there were more options for the 'Button' control version of FS2crews packages. I would love the Feelthere 737 an Maddog with the 'Button' option. I'm not really into talking to may machine plus it's a hassle for those that don't speak English. :mellow:On a positive note all the Button option packages are outstanding:IFlyA320MD11767 :(

Ifly is the best of all. I use it all the time.

It would be nice if FS2Crew had a general application that could be used like FDC (Flight Deck Companion). FDC works with every aircraft in FS and for those of us that don't like voice control it's great. FS2Crew is limited to specific aircraft which is a shame because it could bring so much to the rest of FS. It was smart with this limited range that FS2Crew took on series of aircraft like the Airbus and 737 classic series. At least you get the whole range there.

I could easily do a "generic" FS2Crew, but way too much detail and quality would be lost in the process. I'd lose most of my customers if I did that.Basically, with FS2Crew I make what I would want in a crew simulation. I've examined every other crew simulation on the market, and lets just say they don't last more than 60 seconds on my machine before I delete them.I'll never do generic or semi-generic.Cheers,

I only fly the Ifly with Voice now and the J41 with voice, cannot seem to fly without FS2Crew voice, adds so much more to the experiencem but i must admit i like the Ifly version a lot more.

Hi JF,No surprises that the iFly is currently top. It's probably the best one I've created to date.Cheers,

Level-D and iFly = 45/45 with 10% to both PMDG birds.I use button versions only.

Could not agree with you more,CoolP,the CS 707 with FS2Crew would be Cloud#9 for me too having been spoilt by Bryan's excellent products for the Level-D 767(Voice),the iFly737NGX,PMDG's 747(Voice),MD-11(Button),and the J41(Voice) which oddly enough I have not even got out of the hangar since I bought it.There are only so many hours in a day.Must make time for that li'l beaut. But as Bryan has stated, will CS ever release the SDK? Still, there's hope. My ranking on usage:(1)iFly 737NGX(2)Level-D(3)MD-11(4)747-400X(LDS's VC is much more inter-active,e.g.the FA knocks on the door when delivering drinks)

I am a Maddog man through and through!I can't get enough of flying it with your Voice edition.I was considering buying the MD11 from PMDG this week, but as there is no voice system, I haven't bothered :-(I could only consider flying an aircraft with Voice FS2Crew nowadays.Neilps. Not quite true, I still fly the Dave Maltby VC10 every now and again, and the excellent FA50 from Yanick (very old). Now a voice edition for these 2 would make my day!

There's some misunderstanding. The NGX version of FS2Crew will match (assuming the PMDG SDK allows it), all the functionality currently in the iFly version. The iFly 737 version of FS2Crew is a VERY thorough 737 specific crew simulation; it's not going to get much better than it. Cheers,

In my point of view The Ifly 737 version is a excelent product. I'm looking forward to a similar version to the NGX. When I said more features i was referring, for example, female voices! Thanks sssilvabr

id say the iFly but since the NGX came that all changed. Its nothing at all to do with the FS2crew program (which is flawless) its just that I can no longer bring myself to fly anything else hehe. That said its weird flying the NGX without an F/O however the way I look at it when you are a real pilot you generaly start in the F/O seat untill you master that side and prove you are ready to sit in the big chair, so doing a whole flight solo is a good way to learn the systems then when FS2Crew finaly does come you will have a very good basis for operations.

Funny you say that. I bought the PMDG 737NGX as soon as it was released. It's excellent, however except for some circuit training it will sit on the tarmac until FS2Crew Voice is available for the PMDG bird. Until then, iFly + FS2Crew is what I'll be flyind some real routes on. It just isn't the same flying without something like FS2Crew to model operations.
