Nice vid Vin; the VC looks great! The window stickers and markings etc really add to the realism of this product. Great job!Nice options on the FMC, good to see we can select how the ap engages for those who are new to trim settings etc. Nice fonts on the FMC too rolleyes.gif

Wow - that are many options...... But right now, I have no clue which one of them I will use later on - Guess it will take a few weeks playing with only these options LOL.gif

I tend not to hang around the Avsim forum very much, probably because I spend most of my time over at Orbx. However, I have been watching and waiting for this bird over the past six months and like many others, with great anticipation. However, out of frustration, I bought the iFLY.... but, I have to say that the vid I have just watched has blown me away. The quality is simply outstanding. BUT.... and it is an old chestnut, I know, but I can't help feeling that all this wonderful definition and attention to detail will come at an enormous cost in framerates (not getting into the framerate vs smoothness argument) let's replace the word framerates with performance. So, I really hope that when this bird is delivered to us all, it will be flyable on most people's systems. I for one will be waiting in anticipation... nice one guys.

I'm not worried about the performance at all. They've said numerous times that it should perform as well as or better than their prior products since it been designed from the ground up using brand new techniques. Plus the fact that you don't really think they would go thru all this work and then deliver a product that was going to kill everyones FPS. Granted its not going to get the FPS of the default 737, but it shouldn't be worse than their previous offerings and might even perform better. The people on their team who are already flying it and posting about it say it works fine on their systems, so I dont think there is any cause for concern, unless of course you can't run any of their current products.Sean Campbell

How confusing can it be to select the 'option' next to the 'line-select-key' pretty basic and i think the options speak for themselves unless im missing something which i dont think i am.

And apparently the other NG is not so good performance wise. At least I've seen some reports claiming poor frame rates in the FSX forums, not to mention the mouse pointer issue

I have only just started watching it and only hearing the change between ANALOG and ISFD! The Sound in the cockpit changes very slightly! Incredible Detail!!!

They're working on a service pack to address the frame rate issue, and a few other things
