We decided to further debug and clean up descent VNAV and some things with LNAV turn prediction before going wide-beta. I'm not going to tell you it's going to be any specific date or timeframe now - we'll do it when we and the tech team think it's ready.

I didn't say that an high price represents an excuse, I told that if the price is too high may lead more guys to think twice before buying, considering a demo won't be available.That said, there is no excuse to choose piracy but this truth doesn't exclude the other one, thinking twice before spending a lot of money and without having a demo to test. A Ferrari costs almost twice than a Porsche but I prefer a Porsche anyway.I would believe that an appropriate price could be around $ 20- 30 for a single plane, above all considering that fans have been waiting since more than a year and they will be still waiting for several months to come with no clue on the release period. Only a deep and blind faith will move them and an high price is not fair due to these above mentioned reasons.-

Ryan said they're working on VNAV and LNAV. He didn't give any indication of any kind of date... on purpose !! How many updates from how many people do you want ?What's the point of having Robert saying "as Ryan said, we're working on VNAV and LNAV" ?This is getting really annoying, about half of the messages i read are asking for updates, talking about release date, complaining, etc etc. Real news are lost in tons of pointless messages. I'm not even mentioning threads like "it's released... haha, got you" !Come on, just wait patiently... come here, see if there's any update and if there is none then read something else, go somewhere, have a drink, watch tv, learn something, use the J41... i don't know, but please, stop expressing your frustration. If there is an update, then great, you're allowed to make a little dance. If the update is the release then you're allowed to run naked in your house while downloading if that's your thing.Everybody is frustrated but we're no longer capricious kids, we can wait quietly, can't we ?Constantly asking for news won't make the NGX available sooner.

What like you just did?....Who are you to tell peple what to do in a public forum?Get off your high horse mate, u aint god.I'd like to know what you do if for example you order somthing off ebay on a monday morning, you speak to the seller, he/she says its in the post....friday comes and nothing arrives....What do you do?..sit there twiddling your thumbs, go somewhere, have a drink, watch tv, learn something, or do you contact the seller for a second time....And im not slatting PMDG here but when they moan about ppl asking about the 737, the answer is simple really...dont tell us ( the thousands of ppl that scroll through a PUBLIC forum) it will be goin into wide beta on a monday knowing full well it wasnt goin to as there was a problem with the VNAV...a problem that didnt accure over night, a problem that was known BEFORE the announcment of the wide beta, only to withdraw any updates and blame a problem , (that was already there and known about) for the delay.Im sure like many were all hanging in there becuase we know the final product will be awesome...but to play with customers the way PMDG have, i think, is moraly wrong...it is us customers that will be putting bread on your familys table...simple as that.Where not puppets on string to be pulled and manipulated as you please.People will only take so much before they turn on you no matter how good your products is.....just like a leggy blonde..yup real nice...but her personality sucked,..so you move on.

They always said that dates are juste targeted dates... if you consider these dates as firm, that's not their fault... ! After all that, why would they try to give another targeted date ?

Luke, you just criticized someone in frustration about expressing their own frustration. Furthermore, accusing PMDG of knowingly providing false information is quite a heavy accusation. If you've ever programmed even a simple macro for anything, you'd know you run into problems. This is why beta exists. Everything may work fine in one environment, but it may not in another. When they found it, they went off to fix it and people here badgered them for an update, so they said it got delayed again. Even the small stuff I write has minor errors in it that continuously get updated as I learn how to better deal with contingencies.Seriously, if you all want to be so critical, I suggest you go off and learn to code, particularly at this level. Heck, write even a simple program. Complaining whining and attacking each other is just making the wait worse. If you think your PR ideas are better, go start a PR firm. If you think your release strategy is better, go start your own aircraft development and release something.When I see posts critical of PMDG here it reminds me of working with the airlines, when they'd pull me off the ramp to help out with customer service. There'd be a tornado over Leesburg and I'd have a passenger in my face yelling "YOU CANCELLED MY FLIGHT! I'M NEVER GOING TO FLY WITH YOU GUYS EVER AGAIN!!!"Sure enough, two weeks later, there they were flying out again. Just like these people here, who will bash their strategies left and right, yet they're still here, waiting for the aircraft they "gave up on" multiple times.Can we pull out of the death spiral, or are we going to keep hashing out this same stupid issue over and over?
