So... About that video we promised you....

Recommended Posts

I think the narrator just turned the cockpit volume down so it would be easier to hear him in the video.
Correct - it was a rough and ready edit! The sounds are superb, best I've ever heard in an FS addon.

Nick, if off the cuff you can make such an excellent video, I can only imagine what you can do when you sit down and script it. I dont' own a single AOA video, but I think that would change soon. Heck the video has even convinced me to get EZCA. Gr8 job PMDG, you guys certainly are delivering a stunning product!!

The flap lever sounds were recorded in the real aircraft with professional microphones... don't know what else to tell you. I do not remember them having a loud "clack".
I dont doubt that, but in our real NG cockpit I can tell you its very audible when you put them into a detend position. But it could be that its due to the turned down volume ;-)Sven

Its just because he turned down the volume. Nick even confirmed it above.

Hello,In the beginning of the video I took my (clean, don't worry :( !!) handkerchief to wipe some dust from my 24 inch monitor. It would not go away, because it was not on the monitor, but on the DU itself...... :( I really fell for that one!!"As real as it gets"?? Regards,Wijnand (EHBK)

Well as I am speechless now after watching AOA videos, what I saw was far beyond my expectations and I feel that to master the plane I probably need a PhD. or something, well I want to say that the release of the NGX will be a history making event, setting higher standards for all FSX/flight products to come, it will be remembered years to come as a plane model that was designed to a standards never done before, changed the way FS understood / appreciated and a remarkable achievement for the industry thank you PMDG

Well I have managed to break the video!I really should be a beta tester - I seem to have a gift - when it comes to breaking stuff on computers!lol! I got 9 minutes in though and it was looking fantastic - the guys at PMDG have done an awe-inspiring job, to say the least! And the guys at AoA look to be puting together a fantastic package as well! Tea and medals all round chaps!

Hi guys. IMPRESSIVE visit there. I can wait! I hope it's out soon. Big%20Grin.gifOne little remark though : About the Fuel Crossfeed Selector. In the 73 Classics it rotates clockwise to open, and then counter-clockwise to close... Maybe this have changed with the NGs??I know U're going high fidelity and details so... Just checking.

Best regards, Fritz ESSONO

Astounding !!!!! This makes even the MD 11 look prehistoric and that's really saying something.
