So... About that video we promised you....

Wow! I am lost for words I think!I think first of all that we as simmers get more than we asked for!The atmosphere is beyond simulation! The feel of the cockpit is enough! I mean normally if this much attention has been given to the feel and look, then there would be a lack in equal measures the simulation of aerodynamics, avionics and systems simulation... But here! Sheesh...I remember for FS98 I think I bought your .AIR file and it's highly detailed and useful manual for the 777 and 767 I believe! They flew by the book sorta speak and elevated my understanding and flightsimming experience! I was so sad that your 757 was not for FS98 as I did not have fly!I remembered your name with respect and admiration... And I followed you through the NG and I am until this day flying the 747 ONLY... And that baby is getting OLD!rolleyes.gifSo it's truly amazing to see you throw in all your might in this project to give us the best in simulation history!Thank you for giving the simming community everything that they have been dreaming of for decades now!

Yours truly

Wow incredible. Quick question, have you shown the product to the guys at Boeing? I've always wondered what they make of flight sim products. They surely must be amazed by this. Hats off to PMDG, yet again raising the bar in flight simulation products.

Well, considering the FSX engine limitations and the level of the current hardware, you pretty much did everything possible guys.. All I ever dreamed about a shor-to-mid distance pax jet in FS is in the pack! FPS look good, sounds are great, options are easily accessible and the visuals are beyond the J41 which was my personal best for FSX. On this note I don't even want to start my "Other 737" copy now, as settling for less than PMDG NGX is going to be a huge compromise. I'll hang around back in the Jetstream flight deck instead until D-Day comes.. This plane will give a new life to FSX and Microsoft will be extremely happy. Maybe this will push them with the Flight realization.

Boaz-Thanks for the kind words- they are very much appreciated. It is amazing to think of: but PMDG will be celebrating our 14th anniversary in the middle of August this year. Back in those days it was just me- but now the team is quite large and it is the combined talent of the group that makes a product like the NGX possible. The talent mix that we have now is really well balanced- the team functions very well and the interpersonal relationships between the members of the team have really grown during the past three years. We have some great things planned- and the next couple of years are going to be great fun! Thanks for sticking around!

Not in my wildest dreams (and believe me, I can have some wild dreams :( ) I imagined something like this would every be possible in a pc-based flightsimulator, let alone FSX.THANK YOU PMDG for taking al the time and effort in creating this revolutionary aircraft. And THANK YOU AOA for creating this record setting indepth video!

After watching both videos by Nick/AOA, not even the most reluctant of would-be purchasers could be holding back from adding this beaut to their hangar. Not that it needed these superb presentations by Nick/AOA to sell this aircraft that is going to be THE definitive Flight Sim add-on. At this rate, Nick could easily sell sand to the Middle East,if you get my metaphor.Absolutely outstanding production from PMDG, AOA, Nick et al. If I thought waiting 5 years for the MD-11 was in the end worth it, the wait for this pales into insignificance.

Well there it goes again... the bar... raised to a new height.I sat watching the video, knowing full well it was an earlier beta, knowing full well it was a rough and ready internal project possibly not even originally considered for public release. So many aspects and introductions to the various systems had me saying to myself, "Wow", "They've even done that", "That is cool", and so on. A joy to watch...Of course I cannot wait to get hold of this. I was a definite buyer anyway 6 months ago :) The AOA videos and the beta test reports so far just underline how ground breaking this is. The MD11's depth and more with the JS41's look and feel and more. I think we are about to enter FS Heaven when she goes on general release. All the best for the final stages...Andrew

Ahahah I haven't played the video for 3 secondes or I already said:OOOOOOOOOOOOHH!!!! WOWOWOWO OH MY GOD!

The most amazing thing IMHO that I never even considered would be simulated... (because it is one of those details that one never even thinks about) is the movement of the cloth around the throttles! Seriously, I had to re-watch about 6 times.... Unreal guys... Get 'er dun!Cheers!

Was this a hint**hint**?? Or it's just my imagination being stirred up after the AOA video and PMDG site maintenance info...
