July 22, 201114 yr I"ve been in the real cockpit a few times and I swear I thought I was actually there again, this is such a work of art. I still can't believe that I will have that on my desktop, unbeleivable. So I have a friend of a friend who is an Capt for Continental and he plans on checking this out, I really cant wait to see his reaction. July 22, 201114 yr Simply amazing. Amazing level of detail in the cockpit. Also, great video by the people at AOA. Still can't believe it's a little over an hour long Chris Ferguson PC Specs(Rebuilt 1/11/19): i7-9700K - Non-OC'd, EVGA RTX 2080ti, G.Skillz 16GB Ram 3000mhz, EVGA SuperNOVA 1000w PSU, Cooler Master ML360R, ASRock Phantom Gaming 4 MoBo, 2x 2TB HDD, 1x 1TB Samsung EVO SSD, 1x 220GB WD SSD
July 22, 201114 yr Commercial Member It's pretty neat watching an internal video. Nick does a good job highlighting the various components/features, especially since I'm assuming as an internal video it wasn't scripted?Correct, this wasn't scripted at all and as the disclaimer says wasn't intended to be released when I shot it. I'm glad it's gone down so well! None of these 'preview' videos will be scripted - writing the script takes a LONG time, and I need to spend that time writing scripts for the actual product! <a href="http://www.flyaoamedia.com"><img src="http://angleofattack.s3.amazonaws.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/aoasiggy.png"/></a> Nick Collett i5 2500k @ 4.4GHz, GTX 480, 8GB Corsair 8-8-8-24, 300GB WD Velociraptor, Corsair HX850W
July 22, 201114 yr I dont normally post much, but I thought id chime in here and issue a well earned congratulations to the entire team at PMDG.. The raw talent, passion and dedication that this group posesses is unbelievable. You guys truly are the kingpins of this hobby. Long live PMDG! None of these 'preview' videos will be scripted - writing the script takes a LONG time, and I need to spend that time writing scripts for the actual product!Right. A couple years ago I made some video guides for a friend of mine making the switch from PC to Mac. 40 minutes of video was the result of probably 2 or 3 hours of prep & that was mainly just bulleted lists/outlines, not an actual script... I would imagine something this comprehensive taking quite a bit longer. Kenneth Weir My Saitek yoke mod i7 2600k @ 4.7 8GB Gskill CAS7 2x GTX580 SLI Surround + GT520 Accessory Win7x64

July 22, 201114 yr Argh, sorry guys I should have muted that. It is entirely an EZCA thing, not a PMDG issue.Click or no click, thats an amazing job. I would love to know how to do that with EzDok. Still haven't learned that bit yet. Rick Hobbs
July 22, 201114 yr Wow........ I don't even know what else I can say about this. Everything about the video was stunning and continues to stun me as I watch it again. Out of everything that hit me about this video last night, what struck me the most (probably because it was right in the beginning) was the reflections and glare of the DUs and gauges, the fingerprints that showed up and the dust... JUST AMAZING! (Well and of course everything else was beautiful as well )You guys have definitely done something incredible for the entire FS community and it would be impossible for anyone to watch that video and deny it, can't wait till release! Best regards, happy flying, Wallace
July 22, 201114 yr Saying that 'the NGX is a must have' is like saying 'the universe is big'.It doesn't describe a thing.History is being written at this very moment. Balint Nagy
July 22, 201114 yr Stunning video in all respects. Lots of nice little details that I didnt notice before. Man learns to use fire, man learns to make iron tools, man learns to fly , man learns to create a 100% authentic reproduction of a 737 using nothing but ones and zeros and some electricity. You guys/gals at PMDG didnt just raise the bar abit, you put the bar in orbit! :( Andrew Simmons Intel i7 950+Corsair H70. 6 Gig ram Kingston Hyperx 1600Mhz ASUS GTX560 Ti (900mhz core/1800Shader/2100Memory) 1T Cavier Black HD + 1T Cavier Green for backup jobs. July 22, 201114 yr Hi,Do I smell a fourteen year anniversary release of the PMDG 737-NGX?. :( I'm "VERY IMPRESSED" in what I've seen so far in the videos, the attention to detail is something one would see in a professional commercial aviation simulator. This project is far superior to anything you've released in the past, I'm looking forward to the day I have the opportunity to ferry this lovely lady to KATL. PMDG will be celebrating our 14th anniversary in the middle of August this year. July 22, 201114 yr Simply WOW incredible as far as I got. For all the nay sayers the wait will be well worth it. I have one question: the ability for AOA to move about the cockpit with the different camera angles, is that part of the program or something they have the ability to do. Now I have to go out and come back and watch the rest with an adult beverage or two. Richard Spencer Churchill PVT SEL GYSGT USMC (ret)
July 22, 201114 yr Any idea how he gets the smooth panning and movement from EZCA? The video looks fantastic. Andy Knight
July 22, 201114 yr He is using the 'Float Camera Mode' of the VC and Aircraft camera's. (I expect with a couple of custom settings). Henk de Vries
