July 23, 201114 yr There was one other thing I wanted to mention- but I forget what it is now...So, why did you talk about it???Now i will have to refresh the page until you remember 0.0:D
July 23, 201114 yr Don't You have any favourite moments? ;)Oh hm well I don't wanna exactly call it favourite, as the whole darn thing just blows one away, but say the first moment where I really got stunned where around 00:00:50, the reflections off the screen. Well we have seen all the rest, we knew from all the WIP shots how the VC would look like - statically. But now seeing it under dynamic and varying angles, and how the light affects these things, is really more than just "dust on the screen". Even more, under the sunlight you even happen to see the "LCD" area of the screen - look closely at the F/O outbrd DU at 00:01:15, left border of the screen. Although just a moment it was all black, you now clearly see where the actual display part begins, vs. the surroundings. Uh kinda hard to explain. So anyways, these was my first wow moments. But as I said, I don't wanna reduce it to that, I pretty much liked most of the rest as well (oh did I say I like the animated fabric as well?). :( And I liked the fact the video was really over an hour long. Really really took his time to thoroughly look at every aspect of the flight deck. Very nice.PS. Had a good morning laugh at that burger. Although slightly disgusting right after breakfast, I will say thanks. :(
July 23, 201114 yr Robert and Ryan, The video by Nick at Fly AOA Media surely was masterful. Good call on the releasing it, as it seems to have saved you some time. Nick has become really skilled at, if my guess is correct, using EZ-Dok Camera. It sheds a lot of light on your work for the NGX. The WOW Factor is high on this one. I like the work they've done at FLY AOA Media, as I have utilized their training for The PMDG MD-11. Looks like that will happen again for me with the NGX. Oh yeah, I would like to order one NGX burger to go (hold the mayo). Pat Snyder KBDR " Ah Center, it appears that the problem is between the yoke and seat"

July 23, 201114 yr I'd like to eat that burger... :( I'm serious. I'm hungry now. Literally drooling here. If it wasn't 2:30 a.m., I'd go to the kitchen to make a hell of a burger. July 23, 201114 yr I've downloaded the videos so I can watch them again and again until the NGX is released. It will make me feel like I have it on my computer. I know, it's a little neurotic, but hey, whatever it takes to hold me out. Could you kindly give me some pointers how you managed to download those AOA videos as I tried using RealPlayer and could not do so? As both Nick's presentations are more or less a tutorial,I'd like to go over it a few times.Thanks. Rick Almeida

July 23, 201114 yr Nick, if off the cuff you can make such an excellent video, I can only imagine what you can do when you sit down and script it. I dont' own a single AOA video, but I think that would change soon. Heck the video has even convinced me to get EZCA. Gr8 job PMDG, you guys certainly are delivering a stunning product!!Having bought the MD-11 course that Nick and Chris did, I can assure you that you willl learn a hell of a lot more[b/] from Nick than hours spent reading the full manual while wanting to get in and fly. It's all there and put in layman's language. What Nick doesen't tell you about won't be worth mentioning.Great Video Nick, your a diamond geezer lol Dave Taylor

July 23, 201114 yr Hi PMDG, this NGX looks really great!I'm just a bit worried about FPS (MD11 works pretty well in my computer)I was actually wondering if using features such as the HUD, Terrain display or VSD increase significantly FPS ?I was also wondering if it will be possible to see in the EICAS/ECAM the forward galley:Also, i don't know if this system is eqquiping the 737, but if yes, is it possible to see (just like in recent 777s) the landing gears during taxi?Thank you and great work aniway !Christophe
