I'm 'mega impressed' with this scenery! Apart from those rather distracting flashing lights, this airport strides ahead of many others and, I think, raises the bar for scenery addons like the NGX has for aircraft addons. The detail is just ammazing. So much so that I find myself delaying departures to have a look around. I'm not a lover of that 'in your face' green paint edging around the taxiways but, it seems it's true to life so I can't really complain, It doesn't seem that long ago that there weren't many high quality addons for FSX. Well, it seems that developers have now found some incredible ways of 'beating' the code. Well done guys - 95/100!!!

Hi Abat I'm not completely surprised by the varying reviews. It seems to happen more and more frequently lately. Just look at both the recent 737NG releases. I wonder if the reason for this is because FS addons are becoming very complex - with developers searching for (and finding) ways of getting round the restrictive FSX coding and thus, making it much more likely to impact all the different PCs & FSX installations in different ways. Many purchasers of the NGX from PMDG seem to have issues. I had none (almost). I really do think the bar has been seriously raised with KLAX. ... with a free (albeit 5 minute) trial, what have you got to loose though...?

Guys how does the texture work and performance compare to Flightbeams KSFO? Flightbeams has set the bar higher IMHO.

The gates work and move to your aircraft. Flightbeams does not and will not unless you buy AES. AES is not my favorite program and it is difficult to work with. I have uninstalled it. I'll wait for FSDT's version. It won't make the gates work at KSFO but it appears it will be a more completed piece of software that actually works. The textures and performance are about the same except the textures are in HD. Best regards,Jim

Totally agree Phil. I recall zooming in on KLAX via Google Earth and the textures and colors appear to be right on. If there are any issues, FSDT developers will make it right. Best regards,Jim

Bought it, love it. No complaints at all.

Flew into this new KLAX scenery last night. Let me tell you, the night lighting is the best I have seen. The new way they are doing it with volumemetric (sp?) lights makes the immersion factor unreal. Of course I am using a 42in LCD-LED TV so it looks really good. My only hope is they continue with this type of design work with the new lighting and 4096 textures and not dumb it down so it can be ported over to fs9.The only complaint so far is the white center line lights on the runway 25R (not sure on other ones) when viewed from the side say when looking towards the runway while on a paralle taxi way look raised up in the air in a flat one-dimensional view....very unrealistic.

Some user reviews maybe from some who have incorrect driver/config settings. This happened with the release of the NGX as well. If your settings are bad, so will FSX. and esp anything complex.

Thanks for asking. Very sadly however he passed away from cancer at the young age of 4 1/2. Miss him very much and hope one day I can find/afford another black lab.

Top notch scenery. No issues here apart from some transparencies issues with those light pole beams. Night time appraoch is stunning. FPS is amazing for the size of the scenery.

I agree! Indeed great FPS. I thought I'd get a slide show, like at most of my big airports, but it performs very well, considering its size.

• NEW types of static vehicles on parkings
• NEW animated American Eagle buses, traveling between T4 and the American Eagle terminal

• Visibility problems on the elevated taxiway bridges
• Frame rate loss if the Airplane Cast Shadows on Ground option was on
• Some jetways that were too short has been corrected
• More correct representation of different areas of concrete/asphalt

INSTALLATION This update requires to download the full installer, and it's suggested to Uninstall the previous version, registration will not be affected in any way. Users downloading the installer after Sept. 23th will get the updated version, the installer will read "1.1" at the initial page.
