Eric The same for me: After some days (!!!) to a fresh install of w7-64 and all add-ons, NGX is running perfectly except for IVAP disconnects (internal - no CTD). I also have those flashes but it is not due to unlimited FPS as Evan suggested. I limited them to 50 and I get them. Initially I thought maybe some PMDG fans taking some shots of that beautiful bird.... Anyway, I can live with this too..... September 27, 201114 yr Hi gents, This has most certainly been brought up already, but I'm afraid I couldn't find it. I wanted to know if the cockpit sharing functionnality is still envisionned or not. Thats really an option I'm looking forward to. My good sim buddy and I love to fly together, but its hard to find planes that are properly simulated that offer such a possibilty. It would bring the final touch to the overall feeling of realism this beautiful bird.you guys made has :) Regards Pierre ROBELOT
September 27, 201114 yr Robert, I have not installed any Hotfix because I have not experienced *any* problems with the product since purchase, it did do a few funny things at first, but like magic, they fixed themselves, wonderful product, it autofixes itself... My question is, if i wait for the SP1, SP1 will include all the hotfixes? September 27, 201114 yr So far so good with hotfix4, certainly no adverse effects. Without a list of changes from PMDG it's hard to know what's changed, but I see a modest performance increase. I still have a memory problem where having loaded the NGX I can't load another aircraft subsequently, not even another NGX version. I guess that FSX cannot release the memory the NGX has taken up. FSX either crashed with an OOM message or stops responding and has to close. September 27, 201114 yr Even fsx recognizes that you shouldn't fly anything else!Hehe, and it's not a show stopper either, though it would be nice to be able to change version/livery without restarting FSX.Everything else is as smooth and responsive as you could wish for, ooms, ctds and freezes were already a thing of the past for me before hf4.Kevin Hall

September 27, 201114 yr Yes it will ! This latest hotfix is actually a beta of SP1 without the VC's etc. Well, it should be called pre-alpha then, judging by the number of issues people have with it. I'm still flying on plain NGX with no hot-fixes, and it seems to be quite fine for me. Tomasz Fiszer -- IFIYGD
September 27, 201114 yr I don't have any issue with NGX since first day.I still thinking all issues is causing by poor hardware... José Fco. September 27, 201114 yr Well, it should be called pre-alpha then, judging by the number of issues people have with it. I'm still flying on plain NGX with no hot-fixes, and it seems to be quite fine for me. Surprisingly hotfix 4 is the first version of the aircraft that gives me absolutely no trouble at all. All previous versions gave me panel/control freezes at random moments when using the FMC and on manual landings after flying a flight plan. It's the first time since its release that I can really enjoy the NGX. I hope that the problems that crop up for others now will be solved soon as well (without plunging me back into the problem field ;) ). I still thinking all issues is causing by poor hardware... Sure...
September 28, 201114 yr I don't have any issue with NGX since first day. I still thinking all issues is causing by poor hardware... Care to take a look at my spec below, and tell me what's "poor" about it? I was one of the folks having issues, after all. PC runs stably for everything else, and runs stably for the NGX now as far as I can tell. It didn't before. Lockups in pre-hotfix NGX were common, and once enough to take the whole sim down, too. September 28, 201114 yr hi all. Ive generally had a 99% completion rate on most flights since day 1. Ive also installed the latest hotfix 4 and have completed 4 flights in OZ. Perth to Broome, Sydney to Melbourne, Williamtown to Brisbane, Melbourne to Adelaide all withou a hitch. must admit the new nose attitude on landing is much better Looking forward to see what SP1 brings out.
