NGX Customer Feedback (PMDG mod please read)

I believe the turning radius is way too wide.. At crowded airports it's impossible to push back past other parked aircraft and turn a tight 90 degress and be correctly lined up ready to taxi. Instead it takes a wide turn. I hope I'm being clear here?
Turn radius is the problem. It doesn't seem to be driving the nosewheel as far as it should. Even if you select a very short straight push the curved path puts you out way too far. Kevin Hall
I think the only thing I would request would be something everyone would think is mundane. In the livery download section, have little thumbnails that we can enlarge and look at first before downloading...
Agree 100%. Adding livery thumbnails would be such a big improvement. Ideally not just for the NGX, but for all PMDG liveries. I'm not looking for particular airlines most of the time, just an interesting looking colour scheme. Also as some are "special" liveries, unless you are familiar with the airline you have no idea what it looks like. Kevin Hall

I would like to have real time refueling as in the MD11

For those of you that have it AES does a fantasic job with pushback, well worth the small investment. On the random knob position idea, i can see a lot of people regarding that as a bug and flooding the forums with questions about why the position of the IRS switch has changed etc... Also in real life the pilots wouldn't go randomly changing the switches and buttons, the after shutdown check would ensure that the switches et-al were at the same position. +1 on the SDK. I sooo want FS2Crew with this! What i would like to see is the ability to save the FSOptions section, i like to start Cold and Dark and would like to have the ground equipment in place, doors open etc...

If the OUT, OFF, IN, ON function of ARCAS could be added like in the queen that'd be great, also if yee want to create an EIN livery that'd also be nice, and if yee get hold of a differences document for between the classic series and the NG, it'd really be appreciated if yee could publish it, or just include it with the install of the SP.... Thanks,Rónán.

I wonder if a LINDA or FSUIPC LUA program could be written to randomize the knobs & switches after X many flights as you describe, should be possible. Mark.

I would like to see "hear" a verbal checklist for all procedures, from pre-start to shut down.

Hi Guys, So looking through the forums I have noticed there is a few things people want changed about the NGX, I have decided to open this as a feedback topic for PMDG to see what they can make better on the NGX. NGX Pilots Note: If you would like something changed on the NGX that is sensible like the PAX options etc then please make a reply or post a link to your topic if you already have raised it. Mod note: Please stick/pin please so PMDG can reference back to this every so often.
Excellent idea. One of the best and most constructive thread in weeks. Thanks for this.

I think this would be the first thing that pops into my head when I think of improvements to the NGX. I know PMDG is up against FSX's limitations, but trying to get the NGX pushed back into a narrow alley at LAX is impossible without slewing. It's not the most pressing issue but it can break the immersion.

+1 for the SDK. I am holding off buying this until I can get FS2Crew +1 for the realistic refueling

Well my 2 cents would be the passenger numbers when I fly with Aeronet Airlines on VAFS the passenger numbers are all wrong to the plane and i would like to fly the flight "by the numbers".

Re: pushback I remember that at the original release PMDG said they were going to address this.

If you use fsupic autosave to save to a specific file, and make this default flight, use last panel state as default panel, then all of that is achieved...I just loaded up, plane at last gate, with ground power on, cargo doors and main exit open, all as I just left it last time.

Yes, that would be fine.

What specifically would you like added/changed?
The problem with FSX pushback is; unless you use the default numbers, the pushback will be waaaay too long. Especially if you turn the nose. It would be nice if ya'll could fix the entire pushback routine so that accurate pushbacks could be enjoyed. ie. I see I need the plane pushed back 200' with the nose turned 90 degrees to the right. If you try that with default FSX pushback, you cannot expect anything close. I have been pushed back all the way to the active runway. Thanks for the reply.
