Hi all,After several updates that did not to solve all issues it now looks that they solved it all with update 4.6.Only positive comments , even from the most critical posters. So if you have this plane and did not use it anymore, get the download and start flying again.Just make sure you delete all former versions and only use the 4.6 version.

Just recently saw the 4.6 update and downloaded it immediately. I reinstalled when they released 4.5, but when VNAV got my plane descending when it should have been climbing, I deinstalled. This seems to specifically be one of the issues that is fixed however, so I think I'll try it again. In my opinion the QW757 is the more accurate of the two however in many respects, but the CS757 has a different PFD layout that is interesting to fly once in a while. For that reason I'll probably reinstall the CS757 and see how it flies now.

I rushed over there for my 4.6 update: have the Just Flight boxed version: I was met with the folllowing:In conclusion, when you decide where to buy, please consider the fact we are the developer. So if we run out of cash, the market will get neither download nor boxed versions of our products. Hint: buy directly - support the developer. Thank you. http://www.captainsi...port/boxed.html.There is always a reason(s) why any entity is viewed in a certain light. In the past, I've bought their C-130, B-707 + Expan...,Radar, and Weapon for FSX: I never read this "policy" at http://www.captainsi...port/boxed.html I also have their B-727 boxed and their B-767, even though I have Level-d's B-767 for FS9 and FSX. Why put it in any store if you dont intend to fully support it? This eventually results in counter productiveness.

Hi eSimmer,Despite that policy, we have managed to provide previous service packs to our customers (SP4.4). Unfortunately that hasn't been the case with the new service pack, SP4.5/4.6.Apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. Thanks,Martyn (Just Flight)

I uninstalled mine after all the issues in previous versions and am very happy with the QW757 however I did find the CS VC more detailed and easier to read so I'll definitely download 4.6 tonight and try it out.

It is indeed easier to read, but it's not more accurate. Actually, comparing CS757 VC shots to the real thing, it often seems to me that the CS757 is rather inaccurate in multiple areas. The QW757 fares a lot better in the modeling aspect....

I too purchased the QW757 after being unhappy with the CS version for a long time. I was delighted with the QW version - it's a great addon in almost all respects. The CS757 was uninstalled soon after. When I received the email from Captain Sim regarding the 4.6 model, I reinstalled it. The update does indeed make this a much improved addon. I now supect I'll have difficulty deciding which version to keep - probably both though. What I have noticed however, and this may be comparing apples to oranges somewhat, is that regardless of all the trouble that some have had with the PMDG 737NGX, I get much SMOOTHER frame rates with the NGX than with the CS757. When flying the CS757, my FR jump around erratically between about 14 - 30, causing some microstutters. The same flight in the NGX gives about 24-30. I'm externally limited at 30.This is not meant as a crit of the CS757, just an early observation.

And what shall we do when we´ve bought the boxed edition via Just Flight?

Best regards, Steffen

Have you looked at the throttle pedestal lately?

Thanks

Nope, I haven't. Been looking at the main instrument panel, mostly.

If you uninstall all the addons that are not pmdg-quality you'll end up with just pmdg planes and nothing else.Seriously, I installed the 4.6 update and I'm happy with it (famous last words?)

Flew a flight last night with the Level-D 767. All I could think is, this USED to be state of the art!

Any updates on this? Or is the final answer that there will be no update. I hope not, as I paid for it just like any other customer and assume that Captain Sim still got some money out of this.
