"FIX" page on the CDU, man.
The NGX FMC can sort-of fly curved flight segments by adding waypoints along the route, but my understanding (and I'm fairly sure this has been mentioned by PMDG) of RL procedures is that the FMC can calculate and fly a curved lateral fligth path.If you take a look at the RNAV RNP approach to runway 20 at KGPI, you'll see that very few of the flight segments are actually straight. I tried this in the NGX the other day and the FMC seemed completely flummoxed in both lateral and vertical nav. At the moment the PMDG format nav-data doesn't support the curved segments, but with more and more RNP procedures coming online it would be a nice addition.

I'd also vote for a custom pushback function independent of the FSX default pushback. As it stands now, it's very difficult to push and turn 90 degrees at any airport which has limited maneuvering space around the gates.

Going from another sarcastic post about INOP Stickers, possibility to make things INOP yourself and for that item to then have a INOP sticker over it, I reckon it would only take say a transparent graphic of an INOP sticker to fulfil this task but would make it much more realistic with decisions to fly or not and if chosen to fly to be able to select that within the PMDG menu and then an INOP sticker appears.
I really, really like that idea. A variation would be to add to the random fault generator so it would have an option to pre-configure the aircraft with inop equipment. Now you have the situation where a pilot walks into the cockpit and doesn't know what they are going to face. Think of taking off with one engine generator already out of action and now having to deal with 'minor' in flight failures. Oh happy days. Please PMDG, can we have this in SP2? Pretty please?

Oh, I missed to add a wish:-Flight controls with no hydraulic fixed, and stby rudder.

MULTICREW!No dubt about that. It'ld add another good portion of realism and fun factor.

Such a thing of feature will need a manual addition called MEL, Minimum Equipment List. This manual contains all possible inoperative items that let an aircraft fly with it inoperative. You talk about generator fail:MEL contains this situation, and tells for how many generators may be inop, for how many flights, or days it can be inop, what are te maintenance actions to be taken and the relative...
....OPERATIONS (O)1. Use the APU generator to power the bus associated with the inoperative engine driven generator system. For full electrical load, APU average inflight fuel flow rate is 110 lbs. (50 kgs) per hour.2. Observe APU operational limitations.3. -100/-200/-300/-400/-500: If APU fuel heater is not installed, fuel temperature must be at or above 32deg. F (0 deg. C).A. Maintain fuel temperature above 32 deg. F (0 deg. C) as outlined in MMEL Item 73-2.ORB. Limit flight duration to the time required for the fuel to cool to 0 deg. C as shown below.(Continued on next page)

Ability to pause simulation during the NGX initialization so saved flights can stabilize more easily. Would be most helpful starting saved flights during descent and approach.
+1, Yes you are right about this. Without, it takes some min before oneget stabled in cruise. Much easier the way MD11 was done./ Leffe

Agree, windshield rain effect would be classy indeed.

In SP2 i want to load ready generated flight plan direct from FMC. (some people like me still don't know how to use correct the fmc)

I like some of the request, but some other you have to realize that can't be done. If you were here by the time the NGX was in development you would know. The rain effect for example, is an animation and the NGX is using them all the available ones. Same as the cockpit windows.

I don't know what the real capabilities are regarding the arcs. I can't resist flyin those manually! Great deal of fun once you get the hang of it.

I'd like a hotkey option to preset the Baro mins to landing field elevation plus 200 (or alternatively to match landing elevation set in the pressurization controller)...when landing at fields like KABQ (elev 5355) doing it properly means spending several minutes parked on the baro knob to set the mins for the approach.
