Well, let's see...Flytampa KBOS( I know its old, but most of my transatlantic flights are to/from Boston)ORBX 1WA6 Fall City. The first flight was good, but after I broke the elevator, it became a little harder ;)Carenado 337: haven't touched it yet, unfortunetlyAnd hoping the get PAKT Kechikan soon!

About $67 of AES Credits LOL.gif . Now I have ground service at KSFO and other airports...finally :(
You've inspired me to reinstall AES! And holy smokes, that's a lot of credits!
Hey all. Merry christmas.....for yesterday. Glad to see everyone was treated well from santa. Seems like a bunch of you bought the DCS A10. If you ever wanna hook up and fly let me know. Yes, the reading is endless. I gotta get back into it. Got an email fro dcs the other day explaining their future. Sounds like they have no intentions of slowing. A new plane indevelopment, implementing a Ground Commander option where you can controlthe ground troops, etc and be that JTACS thing, also making a Flaming Cliffs 3.As for those that got the Bose Headset..........###### on you! Lol. Just kidding. I am jealous. Nice headset. FOR those that would like a Bose headset, there is a cheaper alternative that a guy i was flying with the other day that was awesome. He took one of those normal bose active noise cancelling headsets ( about 300 bux here in Canada) and there is this company that specifically makes a microphone boom for that headset. I tried it and it was sweet. Now pop the mic boom off and use the headset as a normal pair of earphones. Was awesome. Total price was 500-600. About half the price of an A20 but much the same thing.Well happy new year and i hope a good one to everyone! Take care!JackColwill
DCS A10 is the bee's knees. After getting the systems down, there is a lot to be said for the satisfaction of simply delivering ordinance to the target. It literally took me a month to learn the weapons and systems. It took me three months to "master" them to my standards. I impress myself when I see my fingers working the X52 Hotas in that sim (rare lately as I can't find the time)! BTW. TrackIR is all but a necessity in this sim.As for the Bose, I agree they are quite the splurge. I wanted one of the top headsets, but unfortunately the Lightspeed Zulu headset hurts me (left side in front of ear) and the X11's ANR leaves a bit to be desired (plus no Bluetooth) compared to the Lightspeed and Bose. My friend that flies the Cub with me let me try his X11 out during my "shopping" phase, and I wasn't impressed.

Not a fan of that anemic aircraft, but I do love the this FSX representation. Truly fun, even though I very rarely fly GA in FSX nowadays.

They're old KBOS is actually one of the best airports I own (and I have about 30+). I'm not sure how updated the installer is, I imagine it's very updated, but check their updated section since KBOS just got a great update not long ago. One thing I like about their airports is they still do update them all very regularly. KBOS has had several. Some may say it's a hard hitting fps airport, but they're wrong in thinking it's the actual design of the airport. It's all location and ones own settings. For example, there are nearly 100 airports in a very small area so ones AI settings may slow them to a crawl as may their "Scenery Complexity" slider with the moving jetways. It's like when people say KORD is terrible. It's not the airport, it's the location and users settings ;)A lot of you got some great things. I don't have anything to add myself. I got some neat little things, like a light that is made from aircraft aluminum and a Hot Chocolate machine (their goes my waistline). As for the Bose headphones go. I've had several pairs of the Bose and loved them all. Each broke at the same place though, which is where the cans (cups) attach to the swivel arms. 3 pair, 2 totally different designs. Best sound I ever heard but very content with my current SennHeiser PC350's (anythings better than Saiteks "Squeeze your ears through your face" set ;)

The lamp sounds awesome, sounds expensive. The hot chocolate machine sounds nice. I've had a Krieger Coffee machine for a while, and have basically all but became dependent on coffee. The Saiteks truly give you the "real aviation headset feel". Haha. We were actually talking about aviation headsets, though. The A20 and an old CD/alarm clock combo I have are the only two Bose products I've owned.

Truly is! Though I use mine less and less in the NGX

Gosh, I really want TrackIR5 now! I got it on Amazon once but it didn't come with the Pro Clip thing, which I wanted. So I returned it. How is yours?

Cressi 'Castoro 2', seemed reasonably priced. I'm actually just getting into diving in the next couple of weeks I'm going to start with my PADI open water certification. It is something I've always wanted to do. Being a chef it will keep me busy on the weekdays I have off. I bought a GOPRO HD Hero 2 for myself for Christmas to document it. I'm really excited about it all. It's a small world finding someone on a flight sim forum with similar interests. Looking forward to a trip up to the great barrier reef, ahhh it's so tough living in australia with beautiful reefs so abundant with marine life.

Very nice. I would list me scuba gear, but think Avsim has a 200,000 character limit on posts :)The #1 spot I've always wanted to dive is the great barrier reef. Unfortunately for me and where I live, it's the most expensive vacation I could ever do, but will someday. Belize is great, and have dove in some awesome places like the Panama canal and Honduras. It's something you'll never regret and with our world being 2/3rds water it's a must do in my book. It's a completely different world and the truth of it is, we know more about our moon then we do our own oceans. I'm both Padi and Naui certified, but with PADI I have most of my certs (13 of them). The only thing standing in the way of getting my instructor cert is the money and trip to Florida. One of these days I hope, maybe after I dive the great reef! :)

This looks like an interesting thread to reply to, after all I'm stuck at LOWW for 8 hours due to lousy passengers at checking, ultimately made me missed a flight and costing me 200€ for another ticket...I got a whole lot presents from myself to myself... Got a joysticks, figured one was broken few weeks after I bought it I needed a new one. Planning to wait to see if there is AS2012 and TrackIR on sale when I get home (hopefully) and a whole lot of souvineers from my Euro trip! (Got to start saving for a trackIR now)
