Track Ir has arrived =D, Though to be honest, that's one of my son's presents, it's proving quite tricky to master as well, if anyone knows how to look at the overhead panel without the view point shooting through the roof, please do let me know :( ....Merry Christmas to yee all.....

On the natural point website there is a profile...charvel. Download and use that. Works perfect for me.Also if you use ezdok cameras be sure to follow the manual for tracker setup otherwise strange things happen!

TrackIR 5, finally!
Wow, very surprised you didn't have TR5 Ryan. I actually thought it was your post I had stickied that helped me get mine working with EZCA. You're going to love it! As for multi monitors, does your graphics team have them? It certainly cuts down my graphic work by a good 50% and can only imagine how great it would be for 3DS Max! With the Adobe products I undock the tools and windows and can at least put it on one monitor. I do the same with Blender which opens up that other monitor 100% for just the previewwork window.

Oh to add to my above, you guys with TIR, don't forget to try your other, non-sim games! It's the one element that has made some of my 1st person shooters that much greater. Being able to peer my head around a corner with a head tilt rather than press "Q" or "E" is pretty sweet. Some games the in out of you head can also be tied into your weapon zoom, although that one I rarely use. No official BF3 support though but there are hacks available for BF2. Sadly, Punkbuster will kick you though (unless someone found a work around) if you have those in place.I got BF3, but for XBox360 which I don't own, but do have in my house (my brother in law). I prefer PC with my setup anyway. I think I'll keep it for him to use and buy it for PC. Too bad I spent all my spendable "Me" money last night. Oh well, I bought the DCS A-10 which I've wanted for a long time and now I just need RSR's controller to go with it and I'll be one very happy Dan!

I do like the TrackIR. Have had it for 4 years now (version 4)But I have to say, after investet in EZDOK, the time I bought NGX I couldn´t be without that one. It´s that darn good, even better than TrackIR and probly the best sim utility ever developed.Didn´t like when I had both running at the same time though, so for me it´s only EZDOK now....and what did I get for X-mas?1. 2 Bottle of "Old Danish"2. 1 Bottle of "Chivas Regal"3. 48 cans of beer4. An LG Home Movie sound system. So cheers all!/ Leffe

Got myself Captain Sim 727 for FSX. Was really missing the 727 ever since I got rid of the Dreamfleet version in FS9.

Wouldn't be without the track ir and ezdok combo. The answer to ronans question is that i dont rely on just the trackir for looking way up or down - it does get a bit sketchy. I create an ezdok camera in th vc for ohead, pedestal, throttle, mcp anf cdu - and assign them to yoke switches so i can look rapidly around without taking my eyes off he screen. Works very well.Dan, i bought arma2 today to follow youre advice and try the trckir with something non-fsx. I hear it works well.

If its because of the stiffness & sticking try my mod. Makes a world of difference on saitek yokes.
