I am highly, highly disappointed.....microsoft can do better then that. Looks like I am sticking with FSX until someone develops a flightsim at PMDG standards.

Flight is a kind of Vista: how to make worse but sell more expensive than the previous opus.

Disappointed I am, o well. Kodos to P3D, it is there turn to take the Market as I don't like X-Plane 10 AT ALL.

So they will give away the demo with Hawaii and to get the rest of the world we would have to pay for it. How come everybody are crying like babies lol?

Its kinda sounding like a farmer who went to buy a car and the salesman started with 1 basic car and kept pushing the price up as he added the engine, tyres, windows, steering wheel, break pedals etc. The only difference is the farmer got his revenge when that salesman tried to buy a cow and ended up paying not only for the cow but its horns, udder, milk, tail, hooves, and i think possibly the potential of its bio produce as well.

I doubt it Bert,Here is an excerpt from an article, "The game will feature it’s own marketplace, with content regulated by Microsoft. There will be no scenery development kit and hence no user created content."

At least, the initial offering (Hawaii) will be provided for free. This will give everyone a chance to take a good look at the new graphics and other features and make a judgement on whether or not its something they want to invest further in. Who knows,it may be so impressive, and the additional content so enticing that it'll catch on. And if not, we uninstall it and move on.

Time for developers to gather round, unite forces and come up with their own flightsim.. The engine is ready and waiting to be put to use in the shape of Outerra. Don't wait for Aerosoft to do it, since they're in love with XP10 now.. if you want something less clunky, you're gonna have to do it yourself. I can do the music.. lol.

This is the only way to exit the tunnel, you are right. Now, let these days pass by and then we all together can organize such a deal, getting in touch with the ones who still care about being human and not vegetables.Stay tuned

What a load of bloody tosh! Bring on Prepar3d. I'm rather glad to be honest. This has actually meant I no longer will have to worry about the two grands worth of addons I've invested in going awol. I'm also quite pleased that XP10 is a world of 'plausable' scenery 'cos that's not I want. So all problems have now been resolved :( The decision has been made for me. I'll stick with FSX until all addons have been coded for Prepar3d and then make the move slowly across,... mmm... I like the sound of that :(

I wouldn't be so sure..

Reminds me of a kids console game (which will remain nameless since I can't remember the name) where you buy the base game and get a couple of plastic figures that plug into this base hooked up to the game console that activates special powers for your characters. As you play the characters, you unlock new powers that can only be used if you buy the additional figurines that plug into the base. They give you a "taste" of what the new powers are like by giving you a preview of each one as you unlock them. The kids then ask their parents for the new figurines so they can use the new powers they unlocked, and the parents shell out more money. Well, this game turns out to be one of the most expensive games you can play... Buying the game and all the figures will cost you well over $300. For a stupid console game. That is where I see Flight going.X-Plane 10 currently costs $79.99. (At one time X-Plane was over $200 a copy). Microsoft Flight will probably cost way more money than FSX and X-Plane 10 combined with all of the downloadable scenery expansions just to get the same flyable areas as these. I bet it will be in the hundreds.
