February 29, 201214 yr I have converted the handful of tarmac or bitumen runways in UK2000 VFR Airfields to asphalt, but you could try Caernarfon or (amazingly enough) Cardiff. It's also worth noting that 90% of the length of the 06/24 runway in the ACG IWM version of Duxford is designated as tarmac, so landing on runway 24 should also result in no sound effects.... February 29, 201214 yr I just bought this and tried it out, man is it great! Such subtle additions yet it makes the flying, takeoff, and landing experience much more immersive. Definitely an amazing addon well worth the low price.

February 29, 201214 yr I am extra-cautious buying FSX addons, but the price and the universality of this addon -is applied to all planes in FSX- made it a no brainer. Excellent decission, and although I am pretty sure some of the effects might be unrealistic with my VRS Superbug, it really adds to the immersion!
