New Aircraft Hint

I think this is an Airtech DHC-3-1000, based on the Otter with a 1000 HP Polish made PZL ASz-62 9 Cylinder radial engine. http://en.wikipedia....PolishOtter.jpg Hard to find a picture from the right angle, but the engine is also used in the Antonov AN-2, which has a better picture available on Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia....led_in_An-2.jpgJust my totally uneducated guess....

Just in case it helps anyone guess, here's a rough stab at an extrapolation of the picture, courtesy of a bit of hasty sketching up in Photoshop:prop.jpgAl

That's pretty cool, I'm not sure about the number of blades, though. Does anyone see any evidence or hints that suggest the number of blades??

Its 2 or 3 I think. 4 or more, you would have another blade in the frame. Not that many radial engines with big cowelings that use 2 bladed props, but the safe bet is a 3.

I'm going to guess Cessna 190/195.

Not sure about the Cessna 195. At that angle, I think you would see the upper wing. I think if its anything, its got a low slung wing.

The plane could be in a climb and thats why the angle is like that.

I think it could be a Boeing 377 Stratocruiser.I did hear rumors that MS were trying to get licences from Boeing, it could be a posibility.

Okay, okay, I spoke too quickly, I was just trying to think outside the box. However a radial engine in the tail would be pretty awesome...
Oh, we're all just having fun here. Keep thinking outside the box! That's often where the best thoughts come from.
Cessna 195 pic..
I agreeBecause MS has just started to sell Maule and RV-6 therefore from a marketing point of view introducing a blockbuster plane ( a sexy big Stratocruiser for instance ) would kill the just released planes DLC. ...And MS intend to maximize the revenue coming from the Maule and RV6.A Beaver would be a good guess as well because her mission wouldn't overlap the Maule ones and a Beaver would simply extend them to fill a concept already introduced with the Icon. When guessing the plane I think we shouldn't take into consideration only the blade shape or our wishes but we should take into consideration how a plane fits the row of Flight planes from a business point of view, in the detail MS business point of view.
My guess is it's a DHC-2 Beaver.
