March 17, 201214 yr If you look at it from the proper angle, that could be an engine on the Grumman Goose.Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
March 17, 201214 yr I know what it is! Ha! But NDA. Anyways, nobody here has guessed correctly yet, but it will fit in well with the next DLC.How did you get to know?Can you give us any clues on what the plane is? At least the manufacturer?Is it big? Small?Is it the C-47? Jehan Kateli

March 17, 201214 yr Commercial Member What is this? Looks a lot like MS Flight screens of AlaskaTry OrbX PNW Friday Harbor. Close, but a few miles south and wrong engine. KCFS only works in FSX add-on's.And no hints guys. Its bad ju-ju to brake NDA, and the dev's DO read these forums. Just wait for the official announcement. Im sure many people will be happy to see it. Kevin Miller 3D Artist and developer
March 17, 201214 yr How did you get to know?Click the MSFlight credits..So it's not a Beaver nore a DC-3 ( pretty obvious even in that letter-box screenie ) or a A320 so i'm with Hook: it's the Goose that gets cooked. Seems logical. Done as MSFS default already, 2 engines ( not in Flight yet ), float as well as wheels, i guess very common in Alaska ( never been there.. ). Would've loved a Beaver and/or Otter but i'm all in for a Goose too. Bring it on ! :Hug: Jan
March 17, 201214 yr Me thinks those A6M guesses on the F/B page might not be far off the mark. Can't say it would be my first choice... However, that doesn't mean to say it's the only thing coming out in the near term.Mike Mike Dryden
March 17, 201214 yr i'm with Hook: it's the Goose that gets cooked.Well, Gribbage did say in another post that he was very familiar with the Goose. :D I didn't wanna load up FSX to look, so I went through my screen shots and found that you could indeed see the engine like that without seeing the wing it's mounted on. The prop spinner on the FSX Goose doesn't have that ring around the base, and the engine looks just a wee bit different. Also, the FSX Goose appears to have deicing boots on the leading edge of the prop near the root.Other than that, the shape of everything is about right.Hook Larry Hookins Oh!
