Are any T7's or 748's equipped with HUD's?
FDX 777s (-200LRF) will have HUDs.

Awesome, but I hope it has a 2d panel. I'm not willing to pay such a steep price for VC only, even if it is PMDG.
Why would you need a 2D panel with a VC like that??? With no 2D in the NGX, don't hold your breath.

It would be easier to get a job at a major airline than to beta test for PMDG.
:(
Oh god, no, no no!Not another 747!What has happened to imagination, why on Earth do we need "another" 747 when there are so many fascinating aircraft to simulate?Very disappointed! :(
Oh my god, how the HELL could you be disappointed with a new 747? At the moment there's only one good 747, from PMDG, but when you compare it to the NGX, it needs a redo ASAP, and look what we got now? We are getting spoiled with great news from PMDG all the time. I couldn't have hoped for any better news! 99% love the 747. And equipped wtih GE engines, it's infact my favourite aircraft in the world, and it will always be! :(

I own the NGX, it has a 2D panel. I can't run FSX with the VC, nor do I want to. It bothers me greatly. The only way a VC is worth it is with TrackIR and I'm not spending money on that.

You're getting a 777, 747, and a 737 in airliner simulation quality within the space of 2 years or less but you're still disappointed? What would not disappoint you, I wonder?

EFB in cooperation with navigraph would be out of this world!!I still can't believe this announcement! When sir Randazzo(he will always be a sir after this) said that the announces made in Munich, would make anyone not attending wish that they did join, I thought he was being dramatic... But actually he was being humble!I think this is will give the community a Boeing overdose!! Love it!

(and so does that *#$%* cat that insists on wrapping itself around my neck while I am on approach in IMC conditions into EGLL).
LOL - you just described my appraoch to LOWI the other night... on the downwind for Circle approach 08, doing my best to manually controll throttle and yoke and stay clear of the mountains. Suddenly I feel a rumble in my chair? While wondering wich great arm-chair-add-on my wife apperantly bought for me, I realized the boring truth, when I felt the paws of my cat on my shoulders... The damned thing had climed up the back of the chair to get a sneak peak of the approach sitting on the captains shoulders... So what do you do? Do you let throttles be throttles and push the hairy thing down? Not with 132 pax onboard you don't! No, you act like a responsible mature captain and complete the approach as if nothing happened... With a cat sitting on your shoulders... That's Airman-sim-ship a it's best!Mas

And of course the Boeing 787.
Believe it or not I have seen a HUD in MD83. You can slap that thing on basically anything, at least in theory. Sooner or later, someone would slap it on the 777 - or sooner, rather than later, if really FedEx is having them.

I 100% disagree, get EZDOK or a joystick with ayoke, I cannot believe anyone would do an entire flight in the 2D

That one's easy...You will find in life that we all have different tastes, I like Marmite you may not, I love strawberries but they make your face all bloated and freaky. It's called personal preference, some of us don't have to favour the type of simming you do, and get excited by imaginative development choices. However, as I said, given that it will be a PMDG offering and no doubt as gorgeous in terms of quality as the NGX, I will purchase. I dare say I will find time to go to sleep at my PC, or mow the lawn, or write a best selling novel while I wait hours for the 747 or 777 to reach the top of it's decent.

Very nice, cant wait

dude, have you even tried it? how do you know its not worth spending money on it? Not sure how the VC can bother you greatly to be honest. Maybe give it a go first THEN post comments like that otherwise thats just plain ignorant.

Yes I agree, give it a try. [if you have powerful enough kit]I was a VC hater, until I experienced the 737 NGX.Guess what, I now look for add-on's with a quality VC as a priority.I'm not kidding, I detested them... now I love them.P.S. I don't have TrackIR or EzDoc, and don't want or need them.
