I'm very interested to see the On screen check-lists which should be in it. Also if they created a ''Dummy'' Com (Company) page so we could do things like Position Reports, CPDLC etc. Not that they would even do anything within the sim but there to fill out for the fun of it would be cool :Party:The Lighting I really can't wait to see, along with the complete VC! Although I have a picture made up in my head using what we have and the NGX Quality excites me.I loved the Terrain feature in the NGX so I can't wait to have it on the 777, I don't know about PMDG and Weather Radars. I believe they don't do them? Anyway not starting that conversation ha! The Synoptics Pages should like very nice! Or even better, have something in the SDK to allow VAs to implement their own ACARS and CPDLC. EVEN better, have support for Jeroen H.'s CPDLC protocol built in! :D

there is 2d panel in NGX, incomplete, but still, its 2d panel.Why not? There are many positive arguments for 2d panel. EZDOK is not a solution as its a still VC and its same fps impact.I cannot believe you are so selfish you want only options that are best for you, and you are blind for others.You have to understand some people is very limited by their limited PC.Guys I do not see why you hate 2d panels, but believe it or not, there are good reasons for 2d panels to exist.PMDG announced no 2d panels for T7 long time ago, I accepted that, but still Im very supportive for guys requesting it.We all should be very supportive for any kind of feature requested by other people, even if we do not have any benefit from that feature.

I said I used to to hate Vc's.2D panels have there place for many.My personal preference is now for a quality VC, they really do look amazing if you have a good widescreen monitor and a PC that can generate decent frame rate.I certainly wouldn't deny you your right to favour 2D.

+++1, you could not have put it better. Now just waiting to see the same sort of pro-2D anti-2D flak when the 737NGX was announced. PMDG release what they see fit to release. After all, it is their development.

I would assume 747v2 would be fairly easy for PMDG since they already have good FDE data and modelling dimensions from v1

It isn't necessarily a waste of money, Captain Sim isn't all that bad. But seeing that the PMDG 777 will be out soon, it depends what the price of Captain Sim's is. PMDG is so far ahead of other developers in their category, comparing anybody with them is essentially unfair.

I agree that PMDG are good in terms of robust systems code but in the visuals department I think Captain Sim is still the best.

I probably missed this somewhere in all the discussion but will PMDG be offering these new aircraft in FSX only or will those of us still flying FS9 be gleeful as well?
