March 26, 201214 yr I'm very interested to see the On screen check-lists which should be in it. Also if they created a ''Dummy'' Com (Company) page so we could do things like Position Reports, CPDLC etc. Not that they would even do anything within the sim but there to fill out for the fun of it would be cool :Party:The Lighting I really can't wait to see, along with the complete VC! Although I have a picture made up in my head using what we have and the NGX Quality excites me.I loved the Terrain feature in the NGX so I can't wait to have it on the 777, I don't know about PMDG and Weather Radars. I believe they don't do them? Anyway not starting that conversation ha! The Synoptics Pages should like very nice! I could go on and on about what I'm excited for but I think I'll keep the rest to myself hehe! Now watch the rest of this Year drag on ha!It would be cool if CPDLC could work on vatsim, don't know if that would be plausible though. March 26, 201214 yr That's amazing news ! Will buy both for sure !Now let's take the popcorns, and wait for the "when is it out" tsunami :(

EVEN better, have support for Jeroen H.'s CPDLC protocol built in! :D David Zhong New video every Thursday: Aircraft Lighting - Boeing 777
March 26, 201214 yr there is 2d panel in NGX, incomplete, but still, its 2d panel. Why not? There are many positive arguments for 2d panel. EZDOK is not a solution as its a still VC and its same fps impact.I cannot believe you are so selfish you want only options that are best for you, and you are blind for others. You have to understand some people is very limited by their limited PC.Guys I do not see why you hate 2d panels, but believe it or not, there are good reasons for 2d panels to exist.PMDG announced no 2d panels for T7 long time ago, I accepted that, but still Im very supportive for guys requesting it.We all should be very supportive for any kind of feature requested by other people, even if we do not have any benefit from that feature.Perhaps you aren't a native English speaker and you misunderstood, but I didn't say I hate 2D panels. I said I used to to hate Vc's.2D panels have there place for many.My personal preference is now for a quality VC, they really do look amazing if you have a good widescreen monitor and a PC that can generate decent frame rate.I certainly wouldn't deny you your right to favour 2D.Through that long winded answer, you never answered my question. Then you should have read my long winded post prior to your question, it was there to read. What would MartinW prefer =As I said previously, Avro 146 Dornier 328. The Dash if PMDG are still developing it. Don't think you'll need any more examples, it's clear I'm a short haul fan.Not that I wouldn't buy something bigger, but please, I have enough Boeings.Funny how some people just can't accept that someone else has a different preference and doesn't have to validate their choices.Don't use too much "Marmite" on your toast Martin, the only factory that makes it, was damaged in the CHC earthquakes, and won't be producing again until July.I cannot believe I have gone off topic talking about Marmite :( :(Damn it. not sure my supplies will last till July. :(

I said I used to to hate Vc's.I'm not, indeed, but I understood your post very well. However, I actually said that to all community, not just to you, maybe your post in my quote was redundant. March 26, 201214 yr people just can't accept that someone else has a different preferenceI never said you couldn't have a personal preference, I simply asked if three brand new simulation quality aircraft within a short time frame didn't make you happy what would.Jeez you sound like a politician, twisting simple things that people ask. March 26, 201214 yr That's amazing news ! Will buy both for sure !Now let's take the popcorns, and wait for the "when is it out" tsunami :(+++1, you could not have put it better. Now just waiting to see the same sort of pro-2D anti-2D flak when the 737NGX was announced. PMDG release what they see fit to release. After all, it is their development. Rick Almeida
March 26, 201214 yr I would assume 747v2 would be fairly easy for PMDG since they already have good FDE data and modelling dimensions from v1 "The knack of flying is learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." - Douglas Adams Tejon 'TJ' Stanley

March 26, 201214 yr It isn't necessarily a waste of money, Captain Sim isn't all that bad. But seeing that the PMDG 777 will be out soon, it depends what the price of Captain Sim's is. PMDG is so far ahead of other developers in their category, comparing anybody with them is essentially unfair. I agree that PMDG are good in terms of robust systems code but in the visuals department I think Captain Sim is still the best. Regards,Stan
March 26, 201214 yr I probably missed this somewhere in all the discussion but will PMDG be offering these new aircraft in FSX only or will those of us still flying FS9 be gleeful as well?
March 26, 201214 yr EVEN better, have support for Jeroen H.'s CPDLC protocol built in! :DThis. If this was done it would make the T7 litterally the finest plane ever built. Joe Sherrill
