October 31, 201213 yr customers could lose complete interest on the product I know you said it, but do you really believe that? Daniel Nilsson
October 31, 201213 yr So you prefer the silence like the PMDG is doing? The lack of communication of PMDG is really bad, but it's still better than all the BS AS is giving to their customers about this product.

October 31, 201213 yr Aerosfott could be in for a failure IF they're not able to deliver the product they promised. This product was announced to be released as of November of last year. We are now in October of 2012, and they seem to be completely lost. They appear to know what their doing but I think their actions are speaking louder. It has been almost a year since they promised to deliver the product. This can cause a huge impact in that customers could lose complete interest on the product and BBS manages to pull theirs together... And to kill it completely, that FSLabs comes out with their A320. LOL this one made me laugh! Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! Let's breakdown the silliness of this comment: #1. Aerosoft is not doomed to failure. They could completely abandon this product today and they'd still be one of the top developers in the community. #2. If I remember correctly, the BBS was supposed to have their finished "extreme" version out in September....that's last month. Let's also not forget that they posted that the "prologue" version would receive bi-weekly updates to the product....that didnt happen either. In fact, they skipped versions .55, .56, etc and are now working on .60. They might as well just call it .9999999999999999999999999996. #3. If I remember right, FSL said they were projecting their release sometime this year. Who knows, it may happen, but I'm not crossing my fingers. So, if you're going to say one company is bad or is going to fail because of release delays, don't compare it to other companies who are guilty of the same.
October 31, 201213 yr Commercial Member #1. Aerosoft is not doomed to failure. They could completely abandon this product today and they'd still be one of the top developers in the community. Publishers actually, I think most if not all of the projects are done by independent developers who then sell their products through Aerosoft which indeed is one of the best publishers around. I think Aerosoft, FSlabs and Black Box Simulations will all do just fine.

Jeremy, I believe you forgot to read (read). I am not implying Aerosoft will go out of business. I am saying there is the possibility that they IF they are unable to deliver on their promise with the Airbus Extended version; they would fail with the Airbus Extended version. :Black Eye:
November 1, 201213 yr Commercial Member Aerosfott could be in for a failure IF they're not able to deliver the product they promised. Learn to spell Aerosoft properly mate. Find me nit picky for the above statement? Thats what you are doing. This product was announced to be released as of November of last year..... It has been almost a year since they promised to deliver the product. Not this again! Fine, you think we suck, we cant deliver, just dont buy it. Just don't spread your nonsense and ruin it for everybody. This can cause a huge impact in that customers could lose complete interest on the product and BBS manages to pull theirs together... And to kill it completely, that FSLabs comes out with their A320. Oh so you are now a Project Manager of Aerosoft which know how sales goes on, what markets are like? Mate, find something better to do than to type a nonsense and useless post telling us how we will be doomed, you are not Aerosoft and we know it better. Joshua C. WSSS
November 1, 201213 yr Gents: go fly one of your other planes and enjoy the simulator. I am also impatient by now see little point filling in the waiting time for the Extended by posting to this thread, It surely is making no difference. I have some inferior airbuses to fly, a great NGX, the whole arena of Carenado add-ons, and lots of other STOL aircraft as well as the brilliant Orbx scenery, the Aerosoft and UK2000 airports among many, and the effective UTX and GEX underlying most of the remainder. Flaming each other is good fun, but it turns off other users, while gaining exactly nothing. Pax Vobiscum. KInd regards, Ian McPhail

Ian you are awesome, a little flaming now and again is most certainly a good bit of fun ;-). All that aside, I'm looking forward to the plane and I'm sure it will be awesome when they release it.

Mate, find something better to do than to type a nonsense and useless post telling us how we will be doomed, you are not Aerosoft and we know it better. I can assure you I am a great fan of Aerosoft products and the Airbus X is one of my fav (please read previous posts I've made here regarding the Airbus X). At no time has my intension been to offend you or anyone . However, keep in mind that as a consumer of many daily products, we will all have different views and opinions. I am eagerly waiting on the Extended version and I WILL be one of the very first ones to purchase it (or upgrade). Surely I am not the project manager nor anyone in the development team; however, as a customer (like mannnnny more), we noticed that Nov, 2011 to October, 2012 (and counting), has been a long time to wait. Yes, I understand it is a complex a/c to simulate, and we give full credit to those who manage to simulate it as close as possible to the real buzzz. Therefore-and as I mentined before-, we are waiting; but, please, we wouldn't want it to be another 12 months. -- Bonus: (you called me mate several times...ammmm, my name is Johnny not mate, and I do not mate with mate..hehehe (hey I know what you mean, just kidding)
November 1, 201213 yr Is there going to be a special price for those who already purchased the original Airbus X? I got the original but only flew it a handful of times. The constant CTD was unacceptable for me. It happened after every flight and sometimes mid-flight. It's great to hear the CTD has been taken care of. Nature Boy
November 1, 201213 yr I believe its half price for existing Airbus X customers. Something like 15-20€ vatsim s3
November 1, 201213 yr I believe its half price for existing Airbus X customers. Something like 15-20€ Excellent! I think I'm gonna give this one a try. Thanks, Wims80. I just downloaded the Simcheck A-300 so I haven't really gotten into it yet although the graphics I can tell are not the sharpest. The exterior model is not that great, cockpit is so so (don't like the night lighting), but the aircraft flies beautifully. I really enjoy it. There is a way to import your flight plan directly into the INS for those who don't want to spend a lot of time programming it. I like the added features like the ability to remove the yoke and window tint. I just wish they made more liveries available because it's VERY limited. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Nature Boy
