Martin - Bumpy ok I dig them both now here is what I see the Anti-aliasing on Bumpy is better but the bit darker on Martins is nice but Bumpy your setting one half of the screen is darker than the other there is like a dividing line down the middle of my screen very weird but the AA was awesome your thoughts guys - thank you.

#define USE_SPLITSCREEN 1 //[0 or 1] Splitscreen : Enables the before-and-after splitscreen comparison mode.

Change the first 1 to a 0. I left split screen mode on for testing.

Yea, but FXAA is not compatible with DX10 preview...

My SweetFX settings.   You can preview and download my setting from here.

  • Had a quick look at it and it sure is impressive. Just download SweetFX 1.3.7z, unzip it, move the files and directory inside to your main FSX folder and there you go. The scroll lock key switches it

Thank you guys appreciate it using a bit of both nice stuff off to try out the sunglare now

BUREAU glare effect is amazing do you know how to tone it down about 20% pretty bright right now thanks for the heads up if you don't know I will head over to to to Mr gizmo - thank you.

Wait...

I have 2 uiautomationcore files, one is 152,064b, another 159,008b. Currently using smaller one (152kb), and can't see any difference in behaviour with 159kb one... so far.

Well i really don't know which one i have. When i downloaded it from @adi518 he had a folder called the correct uiatomationcore file. I drag that one into my fsx directory folder an that was it. I  am using even ENB MOD an no crash yet with sweetfx. I am on a 2 hour flight to see if that makes any difference when clicking on menu options an minimizing the screen. Nothing yet so far so good. When i notice the difference was when i by mistake hold on to the shift key an fsx exit out but didn't crash then i went back into fsx like if nothing happen . No crash no black screen .

Hi michel, its true, my second image is too dark, its just a test with 2 HDR (ENB & sweetfx), without HDR sweetfx :

Sans_titre_1.jpg

I was having the same problem you are having . I don't know how i manage to fix it . But i think i had the wrong uiautomationcore.dll in my fsx.cfg. Someone in this fopic was kindly enough to share what he is using that also came with the correct uiautomationcore.dll. @adi518  posted what he uses  an provided a download link to his files an fixes that includes the corrrect uiautomationcore.dll. Also i don't know if this had anything to do with it but i tweak my sweetfx setting using sweetfx config.

I've downloaded what I believe to be the correct uiautomationcore.dll from various CTD threads and the problem still persists, but seemingly only when using SweetFX. Since I uninstalled, I can't recreate the problem.

It's a shame as I love the effects SweetFX delivers, but when you've been flying for two hours and then get a CTD, the benefit does not outweigh the cost!

So I thought I'd post a few screenshots with my settings.  The first one is over the OrbX PNW scenery.  Second is default scenery around KSAC. 3rd is a VC shot.  Below that is my cfg file. The pictures are nothing special, just showing the effect of my settings.  It's a bit like that Claritin commercial IMO lol, where the hazy gray gets lifted away.  Of course the left side is default FSX, the right side of all pics is SweetFX.

These are the default settings for SweetFX 1.4

Easy to check :)

Just right click on uiautomationcore.dll file, select properties, and you'll see size: 148 KB (152,064 bytes) in my case.

Current system: ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4, Intel 12900k, 32GB RAM @ 3600mhz, Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity, M2 SSD, Oculus Quest 2.

Nice Bureau - you should post your real name kind need to do that forum rules and looks like you will be posting a lot - great

yes I always confuse the name and first name in English, call me just cyril :)

I have this CTD at random timing  whenever I turn on sweetfx.

Please help. Thanks.
