January 23, 201313 yr I really wish Microsoft will take fsx into consideration again. After so many years fsx is still not dead, beside there is so many third party addon planes and scenery that make fsx so realistic looking. If Microsoft make another fsx, which make use of the dx11 and muticore. More third party company and therefore more money earn! Why Microsoft give up on fsx :( As Randazzo said, Microsoft not developing Flight Simulators anymore is probably the best thing that has ever happened! Things are moving on...the future is bright for Flight Simulation...
January 23, 201313 yr Owen, don't twist your words and manipulate mine to make me sound like I'm in the wrong. It's ridiculous and childish. There is no need to critisise or debate merely over a released screen shot. Like others, I have thoroughly read your posts so I really don't understand what you are trying to argue about. Commend the team for what they have produced for you, not point out the inaccuracies and mention that they should be amended before release. That's not a very good way to approach something. As I said before, it is impolite. And no, I'm not critisising you, perhaps YOU should re-read the thread. Now grow up or don't bother to post at all. Now if YOU would like to continue your unnecessary fight on such a small inaccuracy, I'll be happy for you to contact me by PM - don't irritate this thread any further. End of discussion. Please take this to PM or just end it, alternatively if it continues you may both find yourselves banned from this thread.
January 23, 201313 yr I wouldn't count LM and P3D out just yet. Yes they are certainly heading to the commercial corporate market, but still doesn't explain a good part of these devs supporting it with native installers and making sure compatibility and providing support. Why would they provide all that time money and resources if they will be shot in the foot. From a business pt if view surely they wouldve had some internal indications from LM. And who's to say that someone like Microsoft doesn't pick up a license to market a consumer retail division. Might seem off topic but the pics released go to show the commitment and development to whatever platform is the strongest. Besides if P3D just so happens to manifest itself in some way in part for consumers, it would be cheaper to develop a T7 and the like for P3D because of the foundation and experience they have with FSX. X-Plane is entirely new, completely different platform. Took years for PMDG to figure out and deal with FSX coding and find ways to get around problems. We should be inspiring with encouraging comments that motivate even further and not degrading a lot of hard work. Else you won't be seeing much previews no matter what platform is the future. And for those that said I can't even see the smudged text on the handles? Maybe I did, but its not my place to judge. Wasn't asked to. I'm not a beta tester. So why would I. If this was the final product that would be a different story. Thanks again for the pics. I appreciate seeing them. CYVR LSZH I7-14700k 64gb 6000Mhz DDR5 ASUS z690 ROG STRIX Gaming RTX 4080 Super,

January 24, 201313 yr Hahaha, thanks, you made my day Few more words please... He said things like in five years we will look back and laugh, they (PMDG) will be able to do things that they could never do before and we will realise MS ducking out of the flight sim business is probably the best thing that could have happened to it. January 24, 201313 yr I wonder if he's talking about Prepar3d, or X-Plane. Guess we will not know this one for a long time... Alexis Mefano
January 24, 201313 yr I wonder if he's talking about Prepar3d, or X-Plane. Guess we will not know this one for a long time... In the interview, Mr. Randazzo said that PMDG is not currently considering P3D due to legal/licensing restrictions, but is already modelling one of its existing products for X-Plane in order to get a feel for how development in X-Plane works.
January 24, 201313 yr I wonder if he's talking about Prepar3d, or X-Plane. Guess we will not know this one for a long time... Neither, I believe. Though X-Plane is a possibility. And yeah, Robert made it clear it isn't Prepar3d. Jay Vorkapic
January 24, 201313 yr It might be this sim: http://www.flightgear.org/download/ Personally I hope Microsoft never ever involves itself with developing a flight sim again, shareholders have a nasty habit of ruining public companies projects with whom they have entrusted some of their fortunes with. \Robert Hamlich/
