January 21, 201313 yr You need to chill - Let's not jump to conclusions. The team has many experts that are there for the sole purpose of fixing inaccuracies such as these. This is merely an adaptation and/or testing module of what to expect when it is released and that is the exact reason WHY we are treated with the occasional sneak-peeks (In this case being an image). Remember that this is not the final product so don't expect too much as you have not legally paid for the product. It is people like you which is why a company hestitates to post more images for their other loyal customers. As other posters said in reply to your post, there is no need to be critical of inaccuracies at this tender stage - it's somewhat disrespectful. On a more positive note however; beautiful VC that the company has produced. Really looking forward to such an exquisite release! IF they wanted to, they could set up a team to build external modules to counteract fsx drawbacks such as the default weather engine which Activesky and Rex have replace. However, if no can be bothered to build solutions to fsx's outdated designs, there is P3D which is built over fsx, uses most fsx addons (aircraft and scenery) and is still being supported so I see no problem with the future of my flight sim Flying Tigers Group

January 21, 201313 yr I sure hope this doesnt become another color shade war type thread. Seriously? All these things are so subjective. Its a beautiful cockpit as it is. Aesthetics doesnt affect the performance and flight dynamics of the aircraft or even the immersion if the shade is not exactly to your liking or if the handle appears to be .01 inches off. PMDG replicates this from an actual cockpit, taking many photos, probably videos and a whole slew of technical information. Who are we to judge as consumers on mundane things such as these. How do you know when that photo shot was taken and if it has not been touched up. Im so appreciative of the hard work that I dont think enough thanks to the PMDG team is enough for putting out modelling like this in a small market as it is on an old FSX platform. Its what keeps our hobby alive and well. In fact they werent even from an official post from PMDG. They were a gift in appreciation for the communities rally in Tonys recovery effort. January 21, 201313 yr Looking at the photo, I think the learning curve (going from the 737NGX) to the 777 should not be too bad. I bet most of us could jump right in, program the FMC and fly. The wait has mabe me crazy! I'll be in the air 1 minute after download. Forget the manual, checklists, EFB, I won't even set the flaps for TO. - I'm going to break ever FAA regulation in the first 5 minutes. Paul Gugliotta
