Ready for you to take my money

Gents,

I would like to echo what Steve said (post#2) regarding the price for quality FSX software. Considering the amount of time devoted to the development of these complex simulation, I have to agree- these products are worth much more than we pay for them.

The most I've spent on an airplane was the NGX (I think it was $65 or something??)

The most I'd spend would be $80-100 if the plane was superb...

It will be.

I think lately we've been seeing far inferior products coming from other developers that are not finished when they release it to us, so when we drop $60 on it, we are disappointed. I think when this new product from the PMDG team gets released we will remember what it's like to pay good money for a GREAT product.

STOP PEOPLE!!!! You are gonna give give the DEV's ideas!!! j/k

I think the cost of an add-on is dependant on the amount of sales they get, not but how much work is involved. There are games on iTunes that take developers a year or more to develop and sell for $2, but they sell millions of copies

I just spent over $60 on the CS777, and before even trying it I went and bought the CS737 and all its varients for another $60... what a mistake that was!!!!!!

Depends on who the developer is.....but specifically PMDG....there is no discernable limit. I'm not certain I can say that of any other add-on developer out there.

I couldn't pay more than about $100 for a plane unless it was as real as it gets and includes shared cockpit.

I've personally found PMDG to be a very fair organization. They charge appropriately for what their product does and represents.

Sincerely,

Well..... It was the Australia Day long weekend....

Hi,

I agree with Belisar and I would add that with PMDG's products you can actually learn from your mistakes when you fly one of their addons because they work like the real plane does. When something strange or wrong happens during a phase of the flight, you can't incriminate the products but only your own mistakes.

On numeral addons from other developers, I tried to find what I did wrong only to find out it was a bug.

That's why I won't care really much about the price and buy the T7 and all the expansion packs with no hesitation.

I would not go above 100$

The T7 will be more expensive than the NGX. Understandable given the superior features and time and effort in regard to development.

But anything above £80 [$125] and I'll be saying, "wow! PMDG, steady on chaps."

P.S It would have to be damn good for 80 quid. It would have to be the best add-on ever. I would also expect frame rate on a par with the NGX or better.

I am ready for PMDG to take my money, but please leave me with a little bit in the piggy bank!!!
