February 26, 201313 yr Morning Folks, I was pondering last night. (That is all) (I joke) With the NGX, we got airstairs from the actual plane to deploy, becuase they were in the real NG (and, older variants of the 737 too). What do we get with the 777? Will we get exterior steps? I know most 777's get jetway luxeries, but sometimes they have to park on remote, and for us who do not have something like AES, but wish to have the realism of the doors open and (imagine the imaginary, invisable) virtual people deplane. Just a thought. Will we be getting exterior stairs Or do we just have to deal with not having the, and pray default ATC give us a Jetway gate? Just sayin. February 26, 201313 yr I agree, GSX from Dreamteam, brilliant ground services, stairs, baggage loading unloading, catering vehicles, follow me truck.................Wonderful. Happy flying. Happy Flying, Dave Phillips.
February 26, 201313 yr Author Hrrmm... but that could be a bit of a frame hit. i dont have the most powerfull of Rigs. on Average the NGX runs at 18FPS for me, and thats with traffic low thats why i like the in-built stuff! -ANDY GREENFlight Diary Account : http://flightdiary.net/SpeedBird7735 Hours experience in Grob 115, 30 minutes in Grob 102 10 Hours in Grob 109 PLUS SOLO! 23rd November 2013!
February 26, 201313 yr I do not have state-of-art PC neither, and I can run GSX without any fps impact. I would not count on any type of loader/unloader device by pmdg team. February 26, 201313 yr Of you can ask them to jump.. Funny story: I had a dream last night that to board a B744, I had to jump in the flaps then the aileron to get on the wing and board through the door on the wing. I got up there and the aileron kept moving up and down making it harder - makes boarding a little more interesting right? - Luke Pabari
February 26, 201313 yr I also have a low-end PC and GSX has no impact at all in performance, even with more demanding airplanes and sceneries. It' Matheus Mafra
February 27, 201313 yr The 747-400FX has Tunner loaders and stair trucks. So maybe they'll port the stair truck over. I'll jump on the GSX bandwagon though. Zero regrets buying that one. The pushback feature is worth it alone. I love parking in tight corners and watching it snake the airplane back out. Just a little something that enhances the ground experience. Chuck Biggins
February 27, 201313 yr Author Hrm...ok....I may go for that then, thank you all Of you can ask them to jump.. The health and safety inspector wouldn't be too pleased about that! -ANDY GREENFlight Diary Account : http://flightdiary.net/SpeedBird7735 Hours experience in Grob 115, 30 minutes in Grob 102 10 Hours in Grob 109 PLUS SOLO! 23rd November 2013!

February 27, 201313 yr You can actually enter a 747 by climbing up its nose gear and then enter the cabin. Lionel
February 27, 201313 yr I don't want to buy GSX just for airstairs (yes I know there's more to it than that, but I'm not that interested in all those interactions). The 747 had selectable stairs animations IIRC (certainly on the 744F). I hope PMDG include selectable passenger stairs for those of us without a bottomless budget for accessory addons.
February 27, 201313 yr This is expensive hobby. Lj. Prodanovic
February 27, 201313 yr Author You can actually enter a 747 by climbing up its nose gear and then enter the cabin. Yup, the engineering hatch. I climbed up one of a 707 last year. WOW, is all i can say...especially as i had to climb down it too...vertical ladders are not all that fun... -ANDY GREENFlight Diary Account : http://flightdiary.net/SpeedBird7735 Hours experience in Grob 115, 30 minutes in Grob 102 10 Hours in Grob 109 PLUS SOLO! 23rd November 2013!
