Aside from which, here is an image of the custom gauge/panel system I created for them... :)

Hey, that is a nice looking gauge, can it be used in other FSX twin jets?

i don't know if it was updated or not but it was released with this rudder.

looks like it is still not fixed in 2010:

I can confirm this, I just reinstalled my old boxed Abacus 787 and this is what I got:

I think there's patch somewhere in internet though.

I suppose they could be. It's not "locked" to the model. I sure don't understand how or why they would have sent the wrong .mdl files to the company that mastered their CD release though!

Here's a quick screenie from my FSX installation. I had to copy/paste from one of my older 'puters on the network so I could load it up...

...it is pretty obvious that the rudder isn't wrong with this model!

I got tired of having to press so many buttons and switches, so I deleted my NGX and installed the Ariane 737.

Ctrl+E and I'm good to go.

I think that Avsim needs to do an extensive and in depth review on this Abacus 787, listing all of it's pros and cons.

Somehow I find it pretty disappointing to see a thread like this, and even more disappointing that it has been allowed to continue this long. I won't argue about the quality level of some of their offerings, but I do feel obligated to point out that they have put out a few products that none of you bashers probably even know about, but are taking for granted without even knowing it.

Like freeware stuff? Planes? Scenery? I'm willing to bet that Abacus has had a hand in that fairly often considering that FS Design Studio is a pretty common design program that people have used to make a lot of the planes and scenery objects in the library here. It's also been used to create planes you might have paid for under a different vendor's name. Same goes for EZ Scenery in terms of allowing those scenery objects to be easily placed by people creating scenery files that are also here. Like Repaints? A lot of those are probably being done with another one of their products.

That said, I'll let you all return to the 7th grade run you have going.

Always a Debbie downer that ruins every tongue in cheek discussion.

Sigh.

I did mention that although their models and such stuff aren't that good they have put many really good programs out and I bought two of them, FS Desing Studio and FS Repaint V2.
