Fantastic update! Two quick questions though.

1. Is the 200ER planned at any time for release?

2. How does Door management work. Is it custom like the 747? I would hope so, as some airliners use the L2 door as a main exit, and I really appreciate the custom door controls on the 747. Either way, I'll be happy, but maybe an option to specify what is triggered as the "Main Exit" door command.

Thanks PMDG for all your hard work.

1. Reread Robert's post - he specifically talks about this.

2. Do you have the NGX?  It's exactly like that - all controlled from the PMDG SETUP pages on the CDU. The 747's method is really old and archaic.

Oh please, Rob, just tell us you are tweaking the night lighting. We all know you are basing the lighting effects off pictures. Don't give us this malarkey about how you have a team using spectrometers to analyze the spectrum of lighting generated by the 777 night lighting. I'm sure Boeing engineers have nothing better to do than send emails back and forth with a developer of flight simulation airplanes.

We can all see through your fancy-talk. Just give it to use straight. You are still working on the night lighting. We get it.

Other than that, looks amazing. I will pick it up just like I have all your other products. Well done.

Okayyyy........Then what about rain and frost on the windshield?.....;-)

I firmly believe there should be an option in the FMC for users to either enable or disable windscreen effects such as rain and frost on the glass, depending on their preference and how powerful their PC is. If there is no technical reason that would inhibit such an effect, I see no valid reason for it to not be included as an option.

It's looking great.  I was thinking of passing this one up since I've been getting more into 64bit X-Plane 10 lately, but I may have to have this 777, after seeing these beautiful screenshots.

I've really been throttling back on what I buy for FSX, and buying every airport that they release for X-Plane 10/64bit.

This may be one of the last higher priced addons that I still will buy for FSX, unless someone can come out with a way of ending OOMs.

Now that we saw the cockpit previews, looking forward on some external models. The B777LR main gear is different from B77W with extra front support on the main bogey of the 300ER. The 300ER also has different rear cargo size door base on airline configuration and SAT domes.

thanks PMDG...

I do, but I am speaking about the actual FS command. What I mean though, is like when I hit shift+E, what exit will open? The L1 door? On the NGX this is fine, because people board from the L1 door. However, some (most I know) airlines use the L2 door. So if I hit Shift+E will the L2 or L1 door open, and can I change that to suit what I want? The reason I ask this is because FSPasengers can only recognize when the [Main Exit] command is triggered and I want that to be the L2 door as that is where most of my GSX/AES jetbridges connect.

Hi Alex, I hope you guys over at FS2Crew are gearing up, cos I can't fly this baby without a decent First!...;-)

Of course there is going to be an FS2Crew for the 777.

It's a 777 not a 172 after all... it requires more than 1 pile-it  :P

Voice control for sure.

Button control... depends on the users.

If they scream loud enough I'll probably cave and also do a button version...

SCREAM!

Due to a bunch or circumstances I can't use a voice versions and won't buy it. I am suprised and saddened you're not intending to do a button version (unless you cave) considering when I look at the FS2Crew FSX user map there are a lot of users use the button verison.

I'll have to ask on this - I do know we won't be going out of our way to do anything that is specific to helping with FSPassengers given that developer's hostile attitude toward issues between his program and our products in the past.

Believe it or not I actually prefer the button version myself - I live with other people and often can't be shouting commands into a mic while people are asleep at night etc...

Really well done gents.  Do you have any females on staff?  Gents and Ladies if so!  Looks great outside and inside, and I doubt I'll have any issues with how it actually operates and handles.

The time is near.  Can you believe we've been watching the progress for this long?  Guys...it's almost here!  So excited, and thanks again.
