Loved the put-down for all the smart-assed who have been trying to impress us other mere mortals with their so-called in-depth knowledge of this aircraft!

To just clairify --

The 200ER A and B models

This might seem like a stupid question but what exactly is A & B models for the -200ER?

Not being sure myself, I did a quick wikipedia and found this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_777#Variants

It looks like it has to do with the range of the aircraft, although it could be something completely different.

Yes, I must admit that I enjoyed that as much as the previews

Bryan-

Overall on my machines performance in the 777 is better than the NGX just slightly.  That being said, we have not started optimizing it for release yet- so with some luck that will continue to be the case over the long run.

Great to hear that the performance i slighty better than the NGX; since we will be flying the 777X mostly into big, complex airports. However, my concern is less FPS, but RAM-usage (OOM!!!). Can you say something about the RAM-usage of the 777X in comparison to the NGX. Somebody said, that it has about 60% more polygons - does this have a (negative) effect on RAM-Usage?

Another question (hope this is OK), the Aerosoft AEX (a nice "fun" product, but never able to reach up to PMDG-level, and also not intended) has a very nice "Flight Data Recorder" - you can read out all the data (including fuel used, touchdown rate etc) and you can check your flight in Google Earth afterwards. I know there are other tools out there to record these data as well, but IMO it would be very kind to include it already in the product.

I'm extremely excited about this product, finally my 2-year CBT-training for the 777X pays off, but take your time until you think it is complete and ready for us - even though waiting for it is getting harder with every picture!

Thanks

The A is  not a varient of the 200er, it is the original -200 series.

the B model, is the early 200er model, BA have all three

So very pleased that the F model will be part of the initial release. Thank you and the preview shots are, as expected, spectacular. I am looking forward to this one.

Robert, will this product include the external taxi camera option for pilots to view from the flight deck, as in real life?

Taxi Cameras are only included in the 777-300(ER), so no, these won't be included in the BASE product, Ryan said they are looking into it for the 300/ER product, but no promise/confirmation yet.

Thanks for the update, guys. Much appreciated.

I had started another thread regarding the possible early release of the 777 liveries (a few days before the actual aircraft release). Any chance of this happening?

I'm not asking for the actual release date, just want to know if this is being planned.

OK...I lied....I AM asking for the actual release date, but I'd probably get a more favorable response if I were to ask Kate Upton out on a date.  :Drooling:
