April 20, 201313 yr Nice shots guys does this bird do auto landing as the ngx does not up on this kind of aircraft - oh also I have to buy navgraph to do auto landing ? thank you Turboprops have no "Autoland"-function. Though, with the use of the HGS/HUD they can still fly approaches up to CATIII! Regards, Chris Volle i7700k @ 4,7, 32gb ram, Win10, MSI GTX1070.

April 20, 201313 yr I guess I was not specific does it have an APP to follow ils down to runway - thanks. Rich Sennett
April 20, 201313 yr For those who are trying to fly the tutorial flight: Beware that the tutorial flight document is still not fixed, despite recent comments from Majestic. Solution: Since the FRANX6 arrival at Montreal no longer exists, you'll need to go REEDO and use the HABBS2 arrival, MIGLO transition. Chop off MIGLO and the STAR will start at REEDO. Start thinking of descending at REEDO as you'll need to be below at least 16000ft by HABBS for RWY 28/24L/R, or below 9000ft for RWY 10/06L/R. A few other things I've noticed: 1) The power levers are quite twitchy on the Saitek throttle, which is to be expected because only 50% of the throttle is dedicated to 'flight' and the other 50% is beta, split between "Discing" and reverse. 2) The Condition levers are also twitchy to move by mouse, I wish there's a 2D throttle quadrant like the Flight1 ATR where you can move the condition lever between detents with one simple click. 3) Don't forget to crossfill the FMS! 4) There's no autothrottle on the Q400. BEWARE do not get below flight idle (50% on my Saitek throttle) in flight or both engines will explode.
April 20, 201313 yr I guess I was not specific does it have an APP to follow ils down to runway - thanks. I guess you weren't - because you said "Autoland" Yes of course. Full APPR mode, with LOC and GS.
April 20, 201313 yr I guess I was not specific does it have an APP to follow ils down to runway - thanks. Well, yes of course - even a cessna has this function - but you have to fly manually not later than 50ft below the MDA edit: DC6_flyer, this time it was your turn Regards, Chris Volle i7700k @ 4,7, 32gb ram, Win10, MSI GTX1070.

April 20, 201313 yr Auto Rudder will definately not cut it. I am using keyboard rudder commands at the moment until my rudder pedals arrive. IMO to REALLY enjoy this aircraft you may want to invest in a rudder pedal setup Marlon Carter - AVSIM Reviewer
April 20, 201313 yr @@Chrjs - Wow, great video! I must say I would be nervous if I were on an aircraft knew a pilot was flying by hand in that level of (Cat III) visibility! ......... Somehow it seems more reassuring the autopilot flying it! Juts shows how much skills pilots sometimes need to use ...... nerves as steel also to fly that one! Whats wrong with the external spot camera view? Its not smooth anymore, i looked everywhere and cannot change it... I noticed this too. To be honest at first I thought it was OPUS Camera related, but I see it's not now.

April 20, 201313 yr WOW is all I have to say. I have no idea what I'm doing, need to learn the FMC, need to learn proper procedures, but I got her in the air and am impressed! What an addon, honestly neck and neck with the PMDG NGX, overtaking it because it does weather radar and the framerates are amazing, literally no different than flying the default glider. Unbelievable! A++
April 20, 201313 yr Is there a problem with justflight's purchasing system? I can't even buy it  Cheers, Pete I bought it an hour ago and still can't install. Receive "Order Not Found", or it can not connect, or after a rare but long pause when it looks like it might work I get "RESPONSE TOO SHORT". Sounds like Majestic's marketing paid off more than they were ready to handle (maybe JustFlight too . . .). Joe Lorenc
