April 28, 201313 yr Author Wawo guys i agree with each an everyone of you . One down fall of any T7 is those 5 to 7 hour flight . I once travel from Brazil to Paris which was 12 hour flight that was insane for me . I slept woke up in the morning took the autopilot off for a bit just to fly manual for a bit even dow it feels like autopilot still lol. Then after that i went to sleep again an woke up when i had 2 or 3 hours more left . So i guest for everyone the NGX will not be ignored after the T7 is release. That sounds so good. April 28, 201313 yr All this talk about pmdg 777 really worries me . Come on think how the NGX will feel when this beast of a bird comes out . I know one thing for sure , the 737ngx will for one thing be siting in the hanger saying when will they fly me again lol . While the T7 is getting all the attention. I can imagine all the pressure on the guys at PMDG must have right now in creating this bird just like how simmers expect it or even better. Will any of you guys fly the NGX again when the T7 is release by PMDG an lets be honest please ? Because i know the minute that bird comes out the NGX will be alone in its hanger for quite some time . With the NGX out, I'd still fly my MD-11X. While flying the NGX I'd still buy the 744X late (v1.0!). While flying the 744X, I'd still take out the MD-11X and the NGX for a "walk", too. Guess what will happen, when the T7 is out? If this bird is what simmers expect it to be i can't imagine the look on captain sim 777 . He will get lost of respect if he still keeps going with his 777 project after the PMDG release theirs . Because to be honest judging by what user post on each forum that talks about CS 777 an PMDG 777, i think over at CS it will look like ghost town. I'm not even aware the CS777 project DOES keep going ... What happened to AVSIM
April 28, 201313 yr Hi all, 777, what's that then, lol. I'll probably buy it, not sure why, as I don't fly that much long haul, might use it short haul with high pax numbers! Wait, don't I have an MD11 that does that already, and a 747 already gathering dust. I think it's all about having a couple of nice planes for most jobs. When I want long haul MD11, 747 and sometimes QW757, well it will do the pond!. Short haul, 737, 757. Regional, then there is the J41, and the QW146, the recent Q400, still learning that one! and the Caranado C208 and Twin Otter. GA then I have the Caranado C172 and C340. Historic, A2A Spit, P51, Stratocruiser and B17, along with the DC2 and Aerosoft Catalina. Historic Jets, mmmm Comet and L1011 from Just flight, then the freeware, Trident, BAC 111....................Wait where do I put the Hercules C130 and Hawker Hunter. Thing is and I think what I'm trying to say here, is that if you buy lots of addon's then that's fine so long as you still use the older ones, I have days where I want to fly GA then other days Historic. then I want to fly by the rules and use SID's and STAR's so it'll be a modern jet. You can do it all with this hobby, I take great pleasure in flying all my aircraft, even dusted off the 747 the other day and went from EGNX to EHAM lol so short but it was fun! Great thread, Happy flying all. Happy Flying, Dave Phillips.
April 28, 201313 yr I cant see how they will improve on the 737 which is perfection unless they do something radical like what majestic did with Q400's flight engine. The graphics may be improved but so far the release pics look to be normal PMDG quality. like most Im not long haul but may buy the 747v2 because I grew up with the jumbo jet and the word "international" ZORAN
April 28, 201313 yr I'm sure many people will still fly the NGX. Not everyone wants to always fly long haul. If you feel like very short hops, the Q400. Short to medium, the NGX, and long, the 777 I agree, I probably won't buy the 777 for that very reason. All my flights are usually inter European and no more than a couple of hours in duration. So my NGX will take pride of place alongside the newly acquired Q400 and remain my favourites for a very long time. April 28, 201313 yr I won't be buying the T7, my NG will already cross the atlantic and that's as far as i can ever be bothered to fly. Though long hauling is a good opportunity to get some of my work done as my pc cannot distract me with the internet! James Bennett
April 28, 201313 yr There is one PMDG for each reason, short legs J41, short to medium NGX, long MD11, I like to flight this with scales, long direct flights and big airports 747, and now we will have the 777 to join these 3, I think I will flight each one week, then to compleat my airline family I flight CS727-200 and new DC9 coolsky I would love to have those from PMDG, I am also thinking of buying the Q400 every body is talking about
April 28, 201313 yr Will any of you guys fly the NGX again when the T7 is release by PMDG an lets be honest please ? Yes, I will fly the 737 because I won't buy the 777. That plane doesn't interest me at ALL. Would be nice indeed if the 737 will get an update with some new PMDG 777 tech (if appropriate) but other then that I am perfectly fine with the 737.
April 28, 201313 yr The NGX is a masterpiece and will still be used in my short haul flights. The 777 will be used for my long haul flights. Anthony
April 28, 201313 yr I hope the NGX might have a face lift in due time bringing it to the same level where the T7 will be considering how popular the NGX has been and still is. Are you serious? The NGX is the most detailed aircraft in FSX. I'll be using my NGX alongside my T7. I fly all of my aircraft, so they all go in and out of the hangar regularly. Thanks, Kevin L

The NGX is the most detailed aircraft in FSX. Don't get me wrong, I truely love the NGX. What I meant was that knowing PMDG there will be lots of amazing new stuff with the T7 and I would love seeing that new stuff also implemented in a version 2 of the NGX wherever appropriate. Obviously there will be lots of stuff in the T7 that wouldn't suite a 737 since they are different aircraft.

April 28, 201313 yr PMDG'S 777 took more than a year to develop whilst CS's pathetic rendetion of the 777 took only a couple (at best).
April 28, 201313 yr I will not be buying the 777 or the Dash-8. I will not be buying any aircraft of this caliber until I have mastered the NGX! Given that I have limited time to fly in the summer and the flying time I have, will be spent cross country soaring for real, I won't be mastering the NGX until the end of next winter by which time, I will be in the same boat again! It will be 2 years before I buy the 777. I may never buy it because I could be dead tomorrow and if not I am more likely to buy the 747 V2. By the time I master that retirement and dementia will be beckoning.
April 28, 201313 yr I'm not much into long haul so I hope the NGX might have a face lift in due time bringing it to the same level where the T7 will be considering how popular the NGX has been and still is.
