April 27, 201313 yr All this talk about pmdg 777 really worries me . Come on think how the NGX will feel when this beast of a bird comes out . I know one thing for sure , the 737ngx will for one thing be siting in the hanger saying when will they fly me again lol . While the T7 is getting all the attention. I can imagine all the pressure on the guys at PMDG must have right now in creating this bird just like how simmers expect it or even better. Will any of you guys fly the NGX again when the T7 is release by PMDG an lets be honest please ? Because i know the minute that bird comes out the NGX will be alone in its hanger for quite some time . If this bird is what simmers expect it to be i can't imagine the look on captain sim 777 . He will get lost of respect if he still keeps going with his 777 project after the PMDG release theirs . Because to be honest judging by what user post on each forum that talks about CS 777 an PMDG 777, i think over at CS it will look like ghost town. April 28, 201313 yr I'm sure many people will still fly the NGX. Not everyone wants to always fly long haul. If you feel like very short hops, the Q400. Short to medium, the NGX, and long, the 777
April 28, 201313 yr Ihave two addons I purchaed and have yet to fly, nothing wrong with them just dont have the time. I still dont get what there is to worry about. Regards
April 28, 201313 yr The NGX is already stuck in my hanger because I am busy with the Majestic Q400. Still will be when the T7 comes out, too automated. April 28, 201313 yr For progress to occur, it is inevitable that low-quality developers will lose to competition and (formerly) revolutionary products will lose the limelight.
April 28, 201313 yr I'm not much into long haul so I hope the NGX might have a face lift in due time bringing it to the same level where the T7 will be considering how popular the NGX has been and still is.

Well, let's be honest: long haul can be stiflingly boring. As Mike Ray said about the 744: love the jet, hate the mission. I will fly the T7 mainly on regional flights, realistic or not.
April 28, 201313 yr Still will be when the T7 comes out, too automated. If the 737 is too automated for you, then certainly you wouldn't like the 777...or any other airliner for that matter. Matt L.
April 28, 201313 yr Both airplanes offer two different kinds of flying. I still heavily used the original 737 when the Queen for FS2004 came out. It all depended on where I wanted to fly. I have lots of European and Asian destinations that I want to fly to so I need a long haul. If I want to fly in NA or within Europe than I use the NGX. Mike Keigley
April 28, 201313 yr I have a 767 for jumping the pond when I feel like sitting here that long. I have found myself going back to GA. Carenado to be specific has gotten my business. Find myself flying the B200, C90. C208, ACll, T210M, cessna 185 bush, I love that little airplane. I also picked up the RXP 430 and 530 N and T line gauge's and have's and haven't looked back since. I have a 777 in my hanger and that is were it sits most of the time.back to basics for me. I like hand flying an approach and to get the feeling of accomplishment when I finally see the RWY. I have actually started jumping to small airports in the lower 48 just to see if I can get into them without a scratch. So no it isn't even on my mind anymore. Nuff said happy flying Cpt out. Best Regards, Robert J McGill
April 28, 201313 yr Not everything is accessible with the 777. or the big jets for that matter. If you pretend your flying someone you know who is off to a certain destination thats perhaps exotic, or doesnt have a huge market, then 777 to the major city, ngx to the medium, and the Q400 is going to head into that special place nustled in somewhere. There you go. A Good mix of aircraft. Oh and when the 777 is in the hangar for a C or D check, then the MD11 will fill in nicely. I dont have to pay for the fuel so all is good. April 28, 201313 yr Certainly my NGX will get most of the flying time still after T7 release. Most of my flights are short hops in Europe. Majestic´s Dash took off some hours from NGX though. Probably the plane that suffers most from my hangar is the mighty 744.
April 28, 201313 yr I'm not into this T7 hype nor the Q400 tbh...

For short/medium flights I have 4 series of 737 and for medium/long hauls the 744/748 and the MD-11 just keep me busy! :-)

Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk 2

I'll get the t7 and the Q in time, but unless the T7 turns the world of flight simulation upside down, I'm pretty content right now flying the NG, and if I ever get back to it, the MD-11. Lots still to master with those. Since I don't like sitting through long haul flights much anyway, I'm more interested in the Q400, but I think I'm going to wait on the Pro edition for that one. To say that one might literally worry that the T7 will render the NGX so obsolete, as in like the NGX will now suck because the 777 is so much better, seems a bit ridiculous. Besides, there was once some talk about rolling some lessons learned from the 777 back into the 737, and if that is so (hopefully), then the NGX will only get even better. I think they will make fine complements to each other!
