I have left my "negative" comments on the Orbx site directly to JV. I also requested that he delete my account and know that I will NEVER purchase an ORBX product now or in the future. I believe customers have a "right" to be heard and the OP only expressed his views about a product. I am happy without FTXG or any of their products. My opinion and you have a right to yours..................

I think JV is pretty civil really. He doesn't suffer fools, agreed, but then if he ever "goes off on one" these days, I seem to always understand why. As much as the customer is always right, as was said elsewhere, he/she doesn't have the right to be rude or make inflammatory comments. I haven't read JV being rude to anyone. Robust, certainly and maybe sometimes a little too spirited, but he is clearly a passionate man and we are all reaping the fruits of that determination.

 

I actually like and respect him for not considering that he is in a popularity contest with everyone. What you see is what you get and I always prefer that to the crocodile smiles we see so often in public life.

Also to add to that i think JV is one of those CEO that are never to busy to answer to his customers. I mean when i first saw him in Orbx Forum answering to customers i first thought does he have customers support team or is he running that company alone . I clearly said he has to have his own customer support team an he answer to his customers that by far is great to me .  All respect to JV an his team . When i saw many request being ask for screen shot of the caribbean  many saw it at Orbx forum but i guest his team was a little busy to publish some . An when i saw him here on AVSIM forum i said hey is the CEO again lets  see if  listen to his customers an by chance publish some screenshot of the caribbean an he did an reply back to me . I mean it makes you feel good to have the attention of the CEO of the company think how will it make you feel if you had the attention of microsoft CEO lol

I agree GEX is down an out FTX Global Knock it Out . FTX Global has come to stay like it or not for GEX . I had a feeling something like this was coming i wonder what took them so long . Is it that everyone is purchasing global an GEX fan has left the building or what ?

 

i think this was a well known FTX competitor, it wouldn't be the first time when he used fake profile in forums to manipulate customers.

 

I can't be sure or prove that, this is just my feeling from the first moment i saw this thread. Becouse is the same style used on other forums...

+1 on that. The pre-launch phase of FTX Global was an object lesson in customer communication and transparency.

nope, you don't get mesh with Global

Doesn't a product like FS GENESIS provide appropriate MESH for FX Global?  If so, that's the product I have had for years.

FSGenesis or FS Global (not to be confused with FTX Global) both sell suitable mesh for FSX.

Wawo it surprises me a lot to see that. But i don't know if it is just me or what but after purchasing FTX Global it has deleted stutter i had in certain part of the world like puerto rico . I guest i had some corrupted textures in puerto rico an global replace that . I fly in areas like Atlanta where i had stutter an now they are gone . I once used the tool that you have in your guide that detects errors in some scenery, it had detected a lot of errors with my default fsx textures i never try to fix it. Then after upgrading to global all that went away no stutter at all.

Ohh Great, now I'm lost somewhere over the Atlantic low on fuel in my J3 from reading all 9 pages of this thread and not paying attention to where I was going. Well at least I'm gonna die with a smile on my face :p0503:

You mean sceneryconfigeditor? I think that is a posible scenario if you had the errors
